A woman in her mid 20's ran hysterically in the corridor, she was going to the bride , the main character of the wedding which happened right now.

As she barged inside , she said "Marquise, Eden is under attack"

Her eyes were met with blue ocean orbs , which till now were happy, but terror took over it as soon as the words ringed through her ears.

Karl's pov

It was the day of wedding, I might as well as be the happiest man alive right now .
Everyone was around .

A tiny little creature which was my daughter walked down as the flower girl scattering flower petals down the aisle .
Her back hair tied in cute hairstyle and she matched it with a white ,golden design frock.

Followed by her was the most beautiful lady I have ever come across, she held her father's hand as she walked down the aisle.
Damn it I want to cry , How did I get lucky with such a woman.
She smiled as she looked at me in the eyes.
Her ocean-blue eyes were pouring forth a depth of love and promise, reflecting a future that sparkled with endless possibilities.
We were going to be tangled in strings which would last outside this realm and maybe every other life we spawn as to, this was a hypothesis by those who descended on this earth before us , how much I hoped it was true .
Even in different realms I want to be with her, her only .
I am hereby giving my heart completely to her , the one and only woman I ever fell in love with .
The one who was a addiction till now will be the necessity in my life  .

Her father handed her hand to me and said.
"You better take care of the fragment of my life,she is the most precious person to me "

I looked at her , her eyes never left me , a smile was always tugged on her beautiful face which I ought to keep as it is.

I smiled back.

The priest announced us husband and wife after the vows which we sealed with a kiss.

It was all a commotion, everyone was happy.

Throughout the ceremony a smile tugged my face .

After greetings,it was the time for dance ceremony.

We danced , firstly with lene and second with lia.
Then all three together.

I was still greeting when lene said she wanted to rest , it was okay because she could greet the nobles another day and it was almost over. She went upstairs.

The day sat down ,the sun was below the horizon.

I went upstairs, looked around to find lene sitting on a couch , her head down .
She was in her uniform, I wanted to ask why ,but stopped when she looked up in my eyes.
It was all in her eyes but I could not read it. guilt, anger ,sadness and many more emotions. As soon as she saw me , she pulled me in a  hug . I was confused , it felt like she was comforting me but why .
"I'll have to go ,karl"
It all made sense to me now , there was anger and sadness in her eyes , she was in her knight uniform and talking about going.
It is a war , I am sure .
"What happened"
I asked as I cupped her face .
"A war is going to happen in Eden ,I'll have to go . The people need me right now, It's a responsibility "
"It is your duty , I won't stop you from doing that, but let me come with you " I cupped her face .
"Don't, take care of lia, don't send her away until I return and don't tell her I went to Eden for war , promise me karl , swear upon me"
"Why are you "
"Please,I beg you ,stay with lia okay " She desperately begged, Vulnerable that was the state I was seeing her in .

I kissed her and she replied instantaneously . Something about her was different right now , she was hiding something and I didn't wanna ask her ,until she tells me all by herself.

I placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Don't you dare say things like that, remember it , come back to me and lia "

She kept her silence and looked at me , tears were threatening to spill out from her almond eyes.

"Don't look at me like that , I might stop you "
She averted her gaze .
And whispered something. Which went unheard by me .
"Ask for help if you need it , it's not that close as it it is to south but I'll come for you
