With that Selene walked out .
She made her way to karl first .
What was wrong with him .
Without further notice , Selene bargged in the office.
The butler was there explaining the situation.
After seeing Selene, karl made his way towards her , he held her shoulders and asked.
"What happened"
The question was answered with a scoff.
She dusted his hands off her .
"What happened?, how could you be so irresponsible" the voice was laced with mockery.
"Irresponsible ?"
"Yes irresponsible sir , do you not care for your daughter at all "
"I don't know what you are talking about "
"You don't know ,are you kidding me . You know it right ,how much of weight a teacher holds in someone's life . How could you not review a teacher before hiring her for lia . If I would have not been there on time , we would have never know that lia would have been physically and mentally abused for god knows how long "

The butler excused himself out till now .
"How did you even come across a woman like that in first place, I am not doubting your parenting, I have seen it till now , that you are good at it . But this behaviour of your's was highly disappointing "

Karl went silent.
And she knew what it meant.
"It's for your daughter, and I won't force you to take decisions . About the countess . I'll take the matter in my hand cause you are probably chained . And also about Lia's basic education, I'll think about it too"

Karl felt incompetent . He was incompetent for not protecting lia two times already. This was his irresponsibility but he was conflicted .
Madam thebesa wasn't just any other nanny. She was basically the one who bought karl up , so could he take actions against her .
