Tatiana mustered up the courage to speak with Reece, her hands were shaky as she knocked on his door, a minute went by before the door swung open and Reece was taken aback, he opened the door to see Tatiana standing there. He held his daughter Leila in his arms and cleared his throat, trying to maintain his cool demeanour. "Tatiana? What are you doing here?"

Her brown eyes drifted towards the little girl in Reece's, having only seen her a few times but never so close. But Tatiana took a step back. "I.. I don't actually know." She breathed out and looked to the ground. Feeling more awkward than ever. Reece noticed Tatiana's nervous demeanour and furrowed his brow, trying to gauge her emotions. He shifted Leila in his arms, bouncing her gently to soothe her.

"You don't know why you're here?" he asked, his voice tinged with confusion. "Did you want to talk about something?"

Tatiana shook her head slowly, holding her hand up to stop him from talking for a moment. "Nothing— it's all good.. I should, just go.. Sorry." Tatiana said with a smile.

"Wait, hold up," he said, taking a step forward. "You came all the way here and you don't have anything to say to me? What?" Reece sighed and ran a hand through his hair, clearly frustrated by the situation. "Can't really say anything. Can i?" She mumbled, referring to their big fight from only a few nights ago.

Reece's expression softened slightly as he realized what Tatiana was referring to. "Oh, right. Yeah, I guess you're still pissed at me, huh?" he said, trying to inject a bit of humor into the tense atmosphere. Tatiana shifted awkwardly on her feet, her eyes going back to Leila who was smiling at her. "It's okay, Reece.. don't have to get into it."

Reece sighed and ran a hand through his hair, clearly frustrated still. "Seriously, Tatiana? You come here unannounced, and now you're gonna act like it's no big deal? This is exactly why I'm so frustrated with you right now."

Disbelief washed over her as she gave a scoff at him but she tried to keep her composure in front of the man's daughter. "Right, sorry. Won't happen again." She said with a roll of her eyes.

He clenched his jaw, his frustration growing with her sarcastic tone. "Oh, so now you're gonna roll your eyes at me too? Real mature, Tatiana," he said sarcastically. Leila squirmed in his arms, sensing the tension between her father and Tatiana.

"Have a good morning." She said with gritted teeth, turning around on her heels. Reece watched as Tatiana started to leave, his expression a mixture of frustration and disappointment. He let out a frustrated sigh and called after her. "Yeah, sure. Just run away like you always do."

Tatiana stopped dead in her tracks, her hands turning into fists as she breathed out heavily. Reece saw Tatiana stop and knew he had struck a nerve. He shifted Leila in his arms, his grip a bit tighter than before. "Go on then. Run away. That's what you're good at, right?" he pushed further, unable to keep the bitterness from his voice.

"Oooh." Tatiana gave a laugh as she turned her head to look at Reece, shaking her head. "Relax." She warned him, she was holding herself back from anger for little Leila. Reece rolled his eyes at Tatiana's response, his irritation evident in his eyes. "Relax? You're the one who's acting all cryptic and sarcastic, and now you're telling me to relax? You've got a lot of nerve, Tatiana." Reece laughed while Leila looked back and forth between her father and Tatiana.

Tatiana stood facing Reece once more, her arms crossed over her chest. Reece sighed, his expression turning to a mix of irritation and resignation. "Well, since you're still here, do you want to actually say something? Or are you just going to keep standing there pouting at me like a grumpy child?"

Tatiana narrowed her eyes at Reece, clearly pointing out his daughter was in his arms and Tatiana didn't want to make a big drama in front of his little girl. Reece rolled his eyes again, realizing that Tatiana was holding back for Leila's sake. "Right, right. Can't have a proper conversation because of my daughter, huh? Convenient," he muttered sarcastically.
