Tatiana drove to pick up Reece from his training session, patiently waiting for him in the car with a smoothie she got Reece on the way. Reece emerged from the training field, looking quite exhausted as he approached the car. He was panting lightly, his clothing sticking to him like a second skin. It had been a long training session and it was safe to say he was drained.

Tatiana unlocked the door for him and waited for him to get into the passenger seat before handing him the smoothie, though she had a stern look on her face she was happy to see Reece. Reece sat down in the passenger seat, taking the smoothie from Tatiana as he shut the door behind him. He could tell that Tatiana had an expression on her face that told him he'd done something wrong.

Reece took a sip of the smoothie before turning to look at Tatiana with a sheepish smile. "You're mad at me, aren't you?" Tatiana bit her cheek for a moment as she inhaled a deep breath, sighing heavily at him. "I would like for you to explain your thought process to me, I get it.. Telling Freda I might move in with you, that's something she has to know, your coparenting situation for Leila.."

Reece sighed as Tatiana began to speak, he knew that this was coming, the way Tatiana inhaled a deep breath and exhaled was a good indication to him that he had made a mistake somewhere. He nodded, taking another sip of his smoothie, before responding. "Yeah... I realise now, it might of been a mistake telling her about us moving in, I was a bit hasty.."

"Oh no that part I understand," Tatiana said as she started to drive. "but telling your EX girlfriend you want to marry your current girlfriend and have babies? Reece what were you thinking?" Tatiana groaned at him and licked her lips. Reece felt a pang of guilt as Tatiana questioned him, he could tell she was somewhat frustrated, and he knew that he deserved a telling off.

Reece leaned back in the passenger seat, taking one more sip of his smoothie as a distraction before responding. "I don't know, I guess I was just excited and I didn't think." He defended himself weakly. Tatiana glanced at him and gave a chuckle. "Yeah I know how you can be, you're lucky this is the new me that's madly in love with you, old Tati would've smacked you upside your head the moment you sat in the car."

Reece immediately turned his head to look at Tatiana as she spoke and he let out a chuckle at her words. He knew Tatiana wasn't joking, and he probably deserved a good whack, but for now he was thanking his lucky stars that the sweet woman beside him was no longer the feisty version of herself. "You give good hits, I'll give you that." Tatiana let out a laugh at his words as she took a right turn at the lights. "But seriously, you need to call Freda and tell her you're sorry for being insensitive, your relationship with her as Leila's mother I have no say in, but as a woman? You're lucky she didn't tell you off, she'd be right to though."

Reece exhaled deeply as Tatiana spoke, she was right and he knew it. He had a habit of going on impulse, especially when it came to Tatiana. "I'll call her and apologise," Reece reassured her, setting the half-empty smoothie cup into the cup holder. "I know I should've been more sensitive... and not impulsive." Tatiana smiled as she grabbed a hold of his hand. "You're excited, about our future, I understand.. But we have to be respectful." Tatiana told him in a much nicer tone than what she had before.

Reece smiled back at her, intertwining their fingers together, he found it amusing how her tone had shifted from being stern, to a gentler one. He knew Tatiana was right, and he knew he had to be mindful about his words and actions. "I'll do better, I promise." He smiled at Tatiana as the car continued on its path. "She liked the gift I got her." Tatiana said with a smile as she drove through the street, glancing at Reece.

Reece chuckled as Tatiana mentioned Freda's reaction to the earrings she had gotten her. "Of course she did," Reece said with a light tone, squeezing Tatiana's fingers lightly. "You're good at gifting." Tatiana was silent for the rest of the drive back to Reece's apartment. "Did you want me to stay over tonight?" She asked with a small smile. "Or are you going out with the boys?"
