Freda glanced down at her phone for the time and stood up with a smile. "I should get going, gotta get ready for work. But thank you for talking to me, Tati, I appreciate that." Tatiana smiled warmly and stood up as well, giving Freda a quick hug. "No problem, it was wonderful meeting you! We should definitely hang out sometime."

Freda gave a nod, smiling wider at Tatiana's suggestion. "I'd like that." Tatiana gave Freda her phone number with a light chuckle. "I always have my phone near me so if Reece isn't answering I will." She teased playfully.

Freda chuckled and took Tatiana's phone number, saving it in her contacts. "Excellent! Now I'll have a direct line to the favorite." Reece, still sitting on the couch, just smirked and shook his head. "You're both so mean to me." Tatiana just gave an innocent smile before looking back at Freda. "I'll make sure Leila doesn't have too much sugar, lord knows this fella don't know how to tell a girl no."

Reece just rolled his eyes again, his expression dramatically offended. "Excuse me, I have very good self-control." Freda stifled a laugh, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Yeah, sure you do, champ." Tatiana laughed softly with Freda, shaking her head at Reece. "Man has no self control whatsoever."

Reece feigned a look of hurt, placing his hand over his heart. "Ah, my girlfriend and baby mama both teaming up against me, how cruel." Tatiana just chuckled and gave Freda a knowing look. "It's called tough love, Reece. You'd know that if you didn't have the mentality of a five year old."

"See what I mean? She's ruthless." Reece groaned and stood up as he walked Freda to the door. "I'm ruthless?" Tatiana called after him, her voice dripping with fake innocence. "Or are you just a big baby?" Freda chuckled as Reece led her to the front door, her eyes glinting with amusement. "You're outnumbered now, Reece. Good luck."

Tatiana picked Leila up in her arms as she walked her to the fridge. "You hungry for anything?" Leila looked up at Tatiana with her wide eyes, a sparkle of excitement in them. She nodded eagerly. "Yep! I'm hungry!" Reece came into the kitchen after bidding a farewell to Freda and watched as Tatiana picked up Leila, a soft expression on his face. "What do you want to eat bub?" Tatiana smiled at Leila as she held onto the small toddler.

Leila thought for a moment, her little brow furrowed in thought. "Ice cream!!" She said it with the confidence of a child who knew she wouldn't be told no. Tatiana bit her lip gently as she sighed. "This seems like a test I'm about to fail— but how about.. I make fairy bread instead?" Tatiana offered with a smile.

Leila's expression turned confused for a moment, her mind clearly torn between ice cream and the novelty of fairy bread. After a moment, her face brightened once more. "Fairy bread! Yeah!" Reece chuckled, leaning against the kitchen counter. "Looks like you passed the test."

"I'm Tatiana Bennett, what test can't I pass?" Tatiana let a chuckle out as she lowered Leila down to start making fairy bread for her. "Tatiana MARIE Bennett." Reece gave a nod as he flashed a smirk at her. "Exactly." Tatiana said with a grin, buttering a few slices of bread.

Reece just watched as Tatiana moved around the kitchen, clearly amused by their banter. He watched as she buttered the bread, shaking his head slightly. He knew firsthand how stubborn Tatiana could be, especially when challenged.

Leila, on the other hand, seemed completely oblivious to the playful exchange between her father and Tatiana. She was watching Tatiana intently, her little head tilted to the side. "What's fairy bread?"

"Fairy bread is a delicacy." Tatiana gave a small smile to the little girl as she continued making the snack for Leila, putting sprinkles on the buttered bread. Leila's eyes widened as she watched Tatiana work. "A delicacy? That sounds fancy." Reece chuckled, his eyes tracking Tatiana's every move. "Fairy bread is basically just bread with sprinkles. It's not exactly high-class cuisine."
