HARRY STYLES

Waking up in London with Lana, Mason, and Jane has felt surreal for the last three days that we've been here. Ever since Jane was born, I had told Allison I wanted to bring her here to spend time with my family and see where I grew up, but it was incredibly difficult to find the time with both of our schedules. The difference now is that I know my restaurant is in great hands with Zayn and Hayden at the helm to expedite dishes perfectly. I feel like I can relax as I let myself slowly wake up, and I'm beyond pleased to lift my head and see that it's 6:48 in the morning. I got a full eight hours of sleep and that doesn't happen often enough.

With a quiet protesting grunt, Lana wiggles back against me like she can feel that I'm waking up but doesn't want me to. I smile and rest my head back on the pillow, holding her in the bed I used to sleep in as a teenager. The sheets and duvet have been replaced with a floral pattern for guests and my room has been repainted from navy blue to a butter yellow, but it's still my room.

"I don't wanna get up, H," she croaks out hoarsely. "I wanna sleep forever."

I laugh quietly and pull her hair away from her neck to kiss the side of it. Her eyes are glued shut and her lips remain in a small pout as I pepper kisses all over her shoulder and throat, and finally her jaw, cheek, and temple.

"I'm happy we're here," I whisper softly to her.

"Mhm," she rolls over against my chest, keeping her eyes shut as she cuddles into me.

Like clockwork, we hear Mason's muffled cries down the hall at nearly 7:00 on the dot, so I peel the duvet back and go to retrieve him in Lana's place. On the way, I crack Jane's door open to see that she's still sleeping on her stomach with her legs and arms spread out across the bed. I stifle a laugh and close the door to get Mason across the hall from her. He whimpers dramatically as I pick him up and start by changing his diaper.

"Da-da-da-da-da," he says, keeping a smile on my face despite the actual shit that I have to clean up. He started saying that last week, and while I'm not positive that can qualify as his first word, Lana's convinced that it is.

"Should we go say hi to Mum?" I hold him close to my chest, feeling my heart melt as he rests his weight on me with his hand on my neck.

I leave the bedroom door open behind me as I walk in and set Mason on the mattress, watching him crawl up to Lana. He has his pacifier in, but he still makes these little squeaking and grunting sounds until she opens her eyes to see him for a brief second.

"Hi, baby," she mumbles as he touches her mouth, eyelids, cheeks, and nose. She just lets him.

I lie down to face her with Mason between us, letting myself bask in that warm feeling as I see our son lovingly touch his mum's face with such a gentle hand. He adores her and I understand the feeling all too well.

Only when Mason tries to pry her eyes open does she laugh and turn her head away from him, earning a whimper as he climbs on top of her to try again. I laugh because she's laughing, and now so is Mason.

"Stop, you little freak," she giggles and moves his hand away. "Okay, they're open."

Satisfied, he smiles back at her with his pacifier still in her mouth, making both of us crack up laughing as I steal Mason to place him on my chest. He starts beating it like a drum as Lana moves closer to rest her head on my shoulder.

"Is Jane awake?"

"Not yet," I take Mason's wrists and start moving them around as if he's conducting a symphony to make both him and Lana giggle.

"I can't believe we get to see Jackie today," she says with the happiest smile.

"Yeah, I'm looking forward to that, too," I smirk because I know something my wife doesn't.
