"It's funny how, in this journey of life, even though we may begin at different times and places, our paths cross with others so that we may share our love, compassion, observations, and hope. This is a design of God that I appreciate and cherish."

Chapter 20: Amy
When I knocked on the farm door, I was half expecting my mom to come and open it, but it was an old man and his wife.
"Oh my, you're back again, oh come on inside." The woman said pulling me inside wondering what she meant.
"Who is it honey? The man asked her.
"It's that beautiful lady." She said not paying close attention to me yet. I watched as the guy came forward and looked at me.
"Oh, that's not her, but they sure could be twins." He said looking at me and that's when the lady really looked at me.
"Whoa, you're right, young lady what's your name? and what brought you here? Would you like something to eat?" the guy asked me. I nodded in response. For the first half hour, they fed me, and I took a shower. I was sitting at the table waiting for their question.
"What's your name, dear?" The lady asked me.
"My name is Amy." I said, and they both looked at each other.
"And how'd you find this place?" They asked me again.
"I was looking for my mother when I saw a sign on a tree not far from here that pointed in this direction, so I came here." I told them.
"It's really you." The lady said,
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Not long ago, a lady who looked just like you came here and your name was mentioned."
"Please tell me all you know." I said and got comfortable waiting to hear what my mother had left them to tell.
"Well, what's your last name?" The dude asked me.
"My whole name is Amy Zechariah," I told them not really knowing what that have to do with anything.
"Well, the woman who was here did say that was her last name so." The lady said looking at the dude and they still weren't giving me the info that I needed.
"Can someone please just tell me how to find my mother?" I asked.
"Okay, well she stayed here for a couple days. it wasn't long before she left." She told me.
"So, what happened while she was here? What did she tell you guys?" I asked.
"She didn't want to go into detail dear, but she said that she needed to get away from here as fast as possible." The lady told me.
"Did she tell you anything that might give me a clue as in to where she's going and why she left?" I asked her. She looked at who I assumed was her husband, and they both seemed to be thinking.
"Oh, do you know anyone name Ezekiel?" he asked me.
"Yea, why?" I asked them.
"well we can't remember clearly enough, but we can give you the names of people that she mentioned and see if you can connect them together." He said looking at me.
"Okay" I said.
"There was someone name Amy, which I'm guessing is you, and then I think Jeremiah, or was it Jeremy? I can't remember." He said.
