I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."

Chapter 21: Jeremiah
I had never been that upset before.
"Calm down man, it probably wasn't who you looking for." Smith told me, and I gave him a sideway look. We came close to Amy, very close but his stupidity slowed us down. He didn't know why I was looking for Amy. He didn't even know who I was looking for, he also didn't know that I knew who he was after and why, so whenever he asked me I would tell him enough but never her name.
"Why are you looking for her anyway?" He asked, but I kept on walking and ignored him.
"We should have knocked on the damn door." I told him kicking harder and harder at the tree.
"Who are you looking for and why?" He asked me with a serious look on his face.
"Don't worry bout it." I told him.
"Then you can travel alone because I refuse to travel with a teenage boy who I don't even know his fucking name." he shouted at the top of his lungs. I simply smiled and shook my head.
"What so funny?" he asked me.
"Like I said, don't worry about it." I told him again.
"No, who are you? Why are you here alone in the woods? Who are you looking for? And why?" he asked me and realized that he wasn't going to give up.
"Niggah fuck you, I should be asking you all these questions? Why are you looking for her?" I asked him.
"What are you talking about?" he asked me.
"Look, before we started trekking together, I was paying close attention to you and I know you're looking for Amy. Why?" I asked him.
"You were?" He asked me with a stupid look on his face trying to act as if I did not just mentioned her name.
"Answer my damn question." I told him.
"Kid listen, the less you know the better." He told me shaking his head and that when I really got mad.
"I already know everything you stupid idiot. I can't believe you were stupid enough to listen to my dad and get yourself in this mess." I said and by the look on his face I knew he was surprised.
"Wait, WHAT?! What are you talking bout? And who's your dad?" He asked me.
"The bitch who sent you here to kill my girlfriend." I told him and walked away leaving him standing there dumbfounded. Even I was surprised at myself, but I smiled at the fact that I just called Amy my girlfriend.
"WAIT!." I heard him shouting behind me and I turned back around.
"Are you really Ezekiel's son?" I smiled again to myself happy with the fact that the recorder was on in my pocket.
"Yea, something I can help you with?" I asked him, and he smiled at me.
"I'm your uncle boy." He said with excitement.
"I know that stupid." I told him back. I was about to say something else to him when I heard the scream, without any doubt in my mind I knew it was Amy. I would recognize her voice anywhere.
"Touch her and remember that payback is a bitch" I told smith before running in the direction that I heard her screamed came from. The next thing I knew, Smith was right behind me with a big happy smile over his face.
