MANON ARRIVED AT SAM AND COLBY'S HOUSE A FEW MINUTES LATER, letting herself in.
"Hey!" She smiled at Colby, who was with a brunette girl and a blond boy. "I'm here."
"Manon!" Colby grinned, gesturing her over. "Allison, Ben, this is Manon - Manon, this is Sam's brother and sister."
"Nice to meet you," she shook their hands. "I can't believe Sam's going to be twenty five!"
"It's crazy!" Allison agreed, shaking her head. "Mom and Dad are upstairs."
"We're here, sweetheart. Oh, who's this?" A couple came over and Colby grinned.
"Cindy, Kirk, this is Manon Wright! Manon, Sam's parents."
"Oh you're beautiful, dear!" Cindy told her. Manon smiled, looking at the gift in her hands.
"Thanks."
"This one is too humble for her own good," Colby bumped hips with her, and she whacked him. "Manon!"
