"WHO'S AT THE DOOR?"
"I don't know! Answer it!"
Manon sighed and tossed up her hair into a messy bun as she walked toward the door. Gracie had collapsed on her bed, complaining of someone at the door, and now she was investigating.
She didn't even bother checking who it was, instead throwing the door open.
"Manon!" Sam Golbach gasped excitedly, embracing her in a hug. Manon almost fell back, tripping onto his jacket for support so they both didn't hit the floor. He pulled away and grinned, but it faltered. "Did I wake you?"
"No. You woke Gracie and she woke me."
"WHO'S IN OUR HOUSE!?" Aurelie ran to the door wielding a bat. "Oh. It's you."
"Why do you have a bat?" Manon demanded.
"It's Hayden's."
Manon nodded and turned back, Sam had walked off to meet Hayden and Aurelie while she greeted Colby. "Hey!"
He gave her a hug, lighter than Sam's for sure. "Nice to see you. Sorry we woke Gracie."
"She can deal with it," Manon shook her head. "I'll go get her."
She walked into the bedroom and chucked a jumper at Gracie's head. The girl yelped, rolling away.
"What is your problem?"
"We have visitors."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
Manon raised an eyebrow. "I didn't know, Gray."
"Ughhhh."
A few hours later, Taylor returned from the airport with a happy Madeleine.
She walked into the apartment to see Manon dressed in XPLR merch while Gracie sat in her own merch, the two boys sitting next to them and everyone chatted.
They didn't hear the door open, but instead heard a loud stomp from Madeleine.
"Maddy!" Manon screamed, running over and throwing her arms around the girl. "I missed you!"
