3RD POV

Your entire body froze, you felt all of your muscles tense and goosebumps travel through your skin. You felt your breathe hitch and heart stop beating for a second. It's been a short while since you felt this—since you felt pure fear.

Being helpless, being scared to death you couldn't do anything but shakily look at Dabi with your eyes whilst not moving a single inch.

Help. The soul begged.

And Dabi wasn't far from your mental state, he looked completely horrified. The grip you both had on each others hands was tight and solid, he was the first one to move turning his head to look at the culprit.

Looking back to see who it was didn't matter, because he knew.

You didn't know who was behind you both, but from the corner of your eye you could see the expression on Dabi's face, it looked as if he'd seen a ghost; was certain death behind? Was the grim reaper a wisp away from touching your skin?

"Well well well... So this is where you ran off to huh? How funny, yet expected." Without a single choice with your body the man with a raspy voice pulled you farther from Dabi, but you were confused; because Dabi isn't doing anything. He was just standing there, frozen.

"Do something.." You mouthed a silent plead that you were sure was noticed by him.

"Shigaraki, leave her alone. She's not involved in this, just take me and leave her." The ravenette shook his head and took a stance, a determined gaze wavering over his face.

Shigaraki?

You slowly started to hear silent giggles, which then evolved to chuckles and then into full blown laughter. Just hearing this sent an alarm through your entire body to run. But that was the problem, you couldn't run, or else he'd place the last finger down.

One wrong move is all it takes.

The silent pleads that barely escaped between your lips were not unnoticed. Glassy tears welled up in your eyes and it was threatening to spill out; Dabi could hear his heartbeat in his own head, his turquoise eyes flickering between you, and at the man holding you hostage.

This was a man who would burn down the world for you, but now that danger has caught up to you—he doesn't know what to do.

He could barely think straight—the only solution on his mind was to give himself up, so that you could roam freely.

But deep down.. there's a spark in his heart. He wanted to live. He has a reason to, now that you're here. He wants to live, but it's not just himself he wants to save—he wants to save you too. He wants to take you somewhere far away, your dream home where you can live out the life you want.

But he wants to be there too. By your side.

He has to fight.

And he'll do anything to be next to you.

The night was strangely lit—oddly enough it was a full moon. It isn't the time to be one.

Sweat drips down your temple, and your hands inevitably shook underneath you. Despite the shaky breaths you took at some point you had forced yourself to calm down and wisely think about your next move before acting.

One mistake.

'Shouting and screaming for help won't do, Shigaraki would just end me on the spot—if Dabi moves an inch, he's bound to notice it and kill me.' your eyes scanned your surroundings, fingers shivering whilst gripping onto the arm around your neck.
