Scott and Wallace were in an elevator dressed in semi-casual clothes to meet Peter, their landlord.

Scott: I don't even have any money.

Wallace: Well, we'll talk about that. That's why we're coming to see him personally.

Scott: Bleggh. I can't believe you got me up so early.

Wallace: I think Peter hates us for some reason. I mean it's not our fault we can't afford rent and we come down here every month to try and Charm our way through, right?

Scott: I like elevators.

Wallace: Can you be serious for one second?!

Wallace: Can you be serious for one second?!

Wallace: Well, I—

Peter: I wasn't really looking for an answer there. I'll get straight to the point, gentlemen. The Landlord-Tenant relationship that we share has been strained, I'd say. Is that a fair assessment?

Wallace: Y...Yes sir.

Peter: So apparently. You're actually all caught up on rent.

Wallace: But... that's impossible!?

Peter: ...Because you paid first and last-up front, and this is your last month.

Wallace: What?

Peter: You signed a one-year lease starting in September.

Wallace: Yeah, I guess we... Yeah, wow.

Scott: Our lease is up?

Peter: So if you want to stay, it's month to month as per our contract. If you're leaving, leave and be out by the 27th.

Scott: Oh, Hey! That's my birthday.

Peter: August 27th is your birthday?

Scott: Oh...no.

There was an awkward silence between the three of them.
