As Ashwathama left the place, she decided to go to Subhadra, who apparently was with Kunti in her chamber. As she was getting up, a hand came in front of her, making her fall back down. "Ouch", she shrieked. She saw that the hand was holding a Jalebi. She looked up to see who it was.
"You know, they say if you think of something as yours, you should not leave it in the middle", the person said, sitting down beside her. "Bheem, you are not having lunch?", she asked. "You are absolutely right, Bhrata Bheem, that's why you left that bitter gourd which you proudly claimed as yours that day, right?", Nakul and sahadev joined. "Yes Bheem, why did you do that? You know you are not supposed to waste food, right?", Yudisthir entered the scene asking Bheem, sitting down with the others.
"No Bhrata Yudisthir, he did not waste it, he gave it to Dushasan saying that it's a special Prasad to do well in Kalapradarshan", Arjun said, sitting beside her. "He did not get suspicious?", she asked him. "If he had that much brains, he wouldn't have grabbed it from my hands and finished it saying that it was as sweet as honey", Bheem said, Making everyone laugh while the eldest one smiled. Arjun felt relieved seeing her laugh finally.
She saw the Jalebi platter while she was laughing. "You brought it for me? I can't finish all these", she gasped looking at them. "Oh, no no Vaishnavi. These are for everyone of us", Bheem said. She held a confused expression. Bheem went on explaining, "when my friend is not eating, I also wouldn't eat there". "And when our brother is not eating, we would not to", Sahadev said. "After all, Family is all about the People we care about, right?", Yudisthir concluded.
With tears brimming her eyes, she nodded and started eating two Jalebis at once with both her hands. Arjun caught the tears falling from her eyes without anyone noticing. "Hey, I did not tell you to start yet", Bheem whined and started eating 4 at the same time. The brothers laughed at their antics and started eating.
They soon finished eating the platter of Jalebis. Yudisthir said, "You told you have strategies, right Vaishnavi? Well, i would like to hear them". "Bhratashree, but those guys -", she started but Nakul interrupted her saying, "Oh you don't just worry about them Vaishu, we all will listen to you". She agreed happily and everyone started to depart.
As everyone left, Arjun said, "Vaishnavi, don't worry about these things. You are the most strongest woman I've ever seen in my life after my mother. These eyes are supposed to see many beautiful things in Aryavart. Not to cry. Don't make this land sinful by dropping your precious tears on them". "Yeah", that is all she could utter.
There was a long silence after that. Usually people get awkward at a situation like this, but she didn't know why she felt comfortable in this silence. Both of them looked at each other's eyes without blinking, no words were shared but a million emotions were being conveyed to each other.
'Ashwathama basically told the same thing to me. But this feels.... Different. Oh my god those eyes... For a crush, this is too much'
"Vaishu!! You are here. I heard Prince Dushasan said means things to you?", Subhadra came running towards her with worry. They broke their trance. "I think I must go to the practice arena", Arjun said and left the place, still savoring her laugh in his mind.
"It's okay Subhadra, th-", she got interrupted, "It's not okay!! How can he hurt my sister. Wait, I'll tell our brothers about him. No, why bother them. I alone can handle him", she was furious as she cannot let her Little sister down at any moment. Vaishnavi was just smiling seeing her. After a long time, she felt like family. Physically she was always fit, but mentally she was not. She turned off all her emotions once. But now, it feels like it's time to switch them back on.
"Woah woah woah, It's okay my dear Subha, I'm alright. This sister of yours won't break for someone else's words that easily, okay? Trust me I've seen worse. Let's go now?", she consoled her sister, for which she nodded. As Subhadra started going, Vaishnavi's attention went back on the pot which was on their way that was broken, no no, which she broke.
'I almost forgot about it, how did this happen? How the hell did I do this?'
She did some movement from her hands, just like how Peter does in spider-man. After a lot of trials, she gave up as she got nothing. Disappointed, she just kicked the air, and this time, the glowing thing came again, hitting the nearby statue, making it fall. "Whoa, what the hell?", she screamed in shock.
'I have to ask Krishna regarding this'

"Mitr, what you did to her wasn't right", Ashwathama told Duryodhan in the Practice arena. "What? Are you really taking a girl's side who came yesterday leaving Your Friend whom you know since years?", Duryodhan asked him. Ashwathama shook his head in dismissal, "No, I did not mean it like that. If there was any other woman too, i would have reacted the same".
Karn interrupted them saying, "Mitr Duryodhan, Ashwathama is right. You should not have let a girl face a situation like that. Remember she is from a much advanced country than us. That's why whatever she says will not get right into our heads".
Ashwathama agreed saying, "He is right, Mitr. And she is someone whose family got martyred, still she didn't break, she killed all of them and came here. Did not escape like Dushasan said". "Fine, I'll stop practicing until you guys decide by yourselves, is it me that's important to you or that girl?", Duryodhan gave them an ultimatum.
They stood there silent for one long minute. They never thought this situation would arise. Ashwathama knew that these kinds of situations will be more in the future, but he was not willing to give up on his best friend as of now. Soon, they said at the same time, "You".
