In a blood filled battlefield, there was an obvious winner who was smirking at those who were near her feet. She, as the commander in chief of Dwaraka, had successfully won this war, yet again, perpetrated by the Magadha king, Jarasandha. He sent his men to capture the ocean city of Dwaraka, yet again, for the 17th time, only to lose again.
"P- Please, leave us! Spare our lives!", the Soldiers said. She just shook her head in dismissal and said, "Tch. Tch. Not convincing enough", and slayed all of them with an axe, while her brother was fighting Hansh, for eighteen days. She didn't let Dimbhaka go even near him, and for the last 18 days, Dimbhaka was constantly losing to this one hell of a girl, who was showing him hell while he was still alive.
"Princess Vaishnavi-", he shouted, only to get cut off rudely by her, "It's Senapati Ishwari for you, Asshole!". He growled and marched forward to attack her, but successfully got beaten up to death, by her. He fell down again near her legs, and she kept her sword near his neck, making him shreik, "Tell your king Jarasandha, that he would never be able to capture Dwaraka, ever! The Senapati of Dwarka is standing between you and her city!", she growled at him. Every other soldier started cheering for her, as she defeated the army of Jarasandha, without any casualty on her side.
"Dimbhakaa!!!", a loud scream was heard, making Vaishnavi smile as it indicated only one thing, her brother's victory over Hansh. Dimbhaka was disheartened as soon as he heard his partner's voice of death. He looked up at the girl of death and said, "I don't have to say anything to my king! My death itself will speak!", and ran away from the battlefield. Then he jumped into the holy river of Yamuna, ending his life.
Hoots, claps and whistles could be heard all over the city, as the duo of King and Senapati, a brother and sister, won the war. They were honoured as soon as they entered the palace by Devaki, who looked at them full of pride on her face.
Satyabhama came forward and hugged her best friend, "And? Ms. Commander in chief? Kicked their asses?", while they both were going inside her chamber. Vaishnavi shook her head and said, "Absolutely Thrashed them!", making the Krishna Priya to chuckle and they both high fived. Rukmini came into the scene and hugged her as well, "Vaishu! Missed you so much! The kids were continuously asking for you! It was very hard to manage them without you!".
Satyabhama chuckled and said, "Didi! We have to get used to it. What if she marries and goes to her in-laws? Then the only thing we could do is miss her!". Instantly, the smile on her face vanished, and she rushed to her chamber with the excuse of changing. Rukmini looked at her worriedly and decided to have a talk with her.
As vaishnavi was taking off her armour, her chain got stuck to the Armor, making her take it into her hand and look at it. Memories of her husband flashed, and she closed her eyes unable to do anything. Rukmini wiped her tears away, making her open her eyes and look at her. Rukmini nodded her head and pulled her into a hug, which she reciprocated almost immediately.
Rukmini caressed her head while saying, "12 years! Vaishnavi! It's been 12 years since he left! And you sti-", but Vaishnavi cut her off, "Not 12 years, Bhabhi! 11 years, 11 months, 25 days, 3 hours and 22 minutes since he left! And I'm not crying because I miss him! These are happy tears as I will be meeting him very soon!", she said breaking her hug. Rukmini held her cheek and admired her love for Arjun.
Rukmini continued, "But he did what you hated the most, dear! Not once but twice! He married the Naga Princess and the Manipura princess! Both for political reasons only, but, nonetheless Vaishu!". She smiled sadly and said, "Of course, I freed him from the Promise!". Rukmini didn't know what to say to her, so she just caressed her head. "Bhabhi! I want to be alone for sometime!", she asked which Rukmini respected and smiled.
Rukmini left her alone, as she was all alone by herself, limiting her talks with anyone and was just strategising war, spending her time in warfare and just thinking about the well being of Dwaraka. She successfully stopped many attempts by Jarasandha to invade Dwaraka, through her valiant leadership and strategies. In between these years, she did go to Indraprasth to take care of her pregnant sister at times.
