Vaishnavi was fiddling with her fingers as she just wandered around her chamber. She was really worried about the upcoming incident of Varnavat. Rukmini and Devaki were in her room, sewing flowers for their hair. "Vaishnavi! Why don't you do one for yourself?", Rukmini asked her. She looked at her, nodded and sat beside her. As she started sewing, she wasn't concentrating on it at all, but thinking of a plan which will help those six out of Duryodhan's devilish plan.
She accidentally pocked her finger with the needle and shrieked, "aah!". Devaki and Rukmini worriedly gave her the first aid she needed and told her that they will sew it for her. Just then Subhadra arrived and sat with them with a sad expression. "Dear Subhadrae, What happened? Where were you?", Rukmini asked. "Bhabhishree! Nothing. I was just talking with Rajkumar Arjun! He is leaving now so-", Subhadra replied, but Vaishnavi's senses started to react quickly and she ran out of the room to see him. Rukmini just smiled at her sister in law who was being impatient to see the guy. As she shook her head and turned to Subhadra, she noticed that she was also looking at her, but with a different kind of expression. Something similar to sadness. She sensed that there was something wrong.
Vaishnavi ran by holding her lehanga in one hand and the bandage in the other hand has loosened. She went to Arjun's chamber, who was instructing something to the soldiers. "Make sure Rukmi doesn't come nea-", he stopped abruptly as soon as he saw the future girl standing there while panting. "Vaishnavi?", he immediately asked. By now, everyone in Dwaraka got used to them, so they left the place immediately.
She just leaned to the door in relief that he hadn't left. He immediately came towards her, and said, "Vaishnavi? What happened?", he came towards her and held her shoulders. "Come here and sit", he made her sit at the nearest couch and gave her some water. She held the glass with her injured hand. "Arjun! Listen to me carefully! Wherever you are going-", she started but the bandage has already fallen down, and she couldn't hold the glass anymore, so she dropped it accidentally.
"Arey! Be careful!", Arjun took the glass from her and gave her a cloth to clean herself. She immediately held him by his shoulders and said, "No! This is not important. Let me- ouch!", she accidentally poked the injured finger to his jewellery. "Vaishnavi! You are bleeding!!!", he immediately held her hand and gave her an amusing look. "You are impossible. You have to take care of yourself, you know that right? How can you be so careless!", he started murmuring as he was applying haldi on the injury.
"Arjun, I-", she started saying but he kept his finger on her lips and said, "Listen to mom!", which gave them a sense Deja Vu. She just bobbed her head and smiled, but kept on thinking of ways she could tell him. He took a purple coloured silk cloth, his handkerchief, and tied to the injury as a bandage. When he was done, he looked at her and said, "Be careful from this time? Okay?", she just nodded her head.
"Arjun, listen-", she was interrupted again, this time by a soldier. "Rajkumar, your chariot is ready! It's time for you to leave". Arjun looked at her once and told him, "I'll be there in 5 minutes", The soldier just bowed to him and left the place. "Then, I'll be taking a leave", Arjun said to her lowly.
'Why am I not able to tell him anything'
"Arjun! Promise me one thing! You will have to always save your loved ones! No matter what situation it is. Okay? Even if all the paths are closed for you to save them, dig up the earth to save them!", She said with seriousness and extended her hands. He saw his cloth tied hand and kept his hand on it. He nodded and said, "I promise".
He went backwards looking at her, not breaking the eye contact. She just smiled at him and waved her hands. He smiled back and went towards his chariot. As he left Dwaraka, he looked at the earring in his hands which was now covered with her blood, and his eyes saw a drop of tear, after a long time.

Vaishnavi was just restless thinking about what will happen in the Lakshagriha. Krishna came to her holding a platter of sweets for her. "Vaishnavi! Wanna have some?", he asked sitting beside her. "Why didn't you let me say anything to him, Kanha?", she asked without looking at him. He sighed and said, "What is meant to happen will happen. You are here to witness it. You won't be able to change anything". She stood up and said, "Then what is the use of me being here, Kanha? I can't do anything even if I know what will happen".
He stood up and held her shoulders, "If you stop them now, they won't be able to marry Draupadi. Am I right? And they will survive this, won't they? Then why are you worried?". "I don't know Kanha. I'm just- They are like my family. I can't stand anything happening to them. And Kunti Mata! She is another mother to me!".
Krishna looked at her intently. He saw the purple cloth on her hand and smiled, "Sakhi, I told you cannot change the outcomes. But you definitely can alter the situations. Rest is up to you!", he said and started having the sweets. She took one from his plate and started eating, making him look up at her.
"Then allow me to go to Varnavat, Kanha!"
