"HEY, Manon?"
She looked up from her notebook to see Sam in the doorway. "Oh hey, what's up?"
"Um...you know how you have the house in Norfolk?" Sam came into her room, slowly but surely, and Manon found herself looking him over. She looked to the wall and cursed herself.
"Yeah, I do. Why?"
"Well...what if we went? The people your friends with, that haven't seen it?"
Manon smiled, closing her lyric book. "I mean...why not?"
"Wait - really?" His smile was wide as she spun on her chair to face him, hazel meeting blue.
"Yeah! You haven't ever been to Norfolk...have you?"
"I don't think so, no."
"Go pack, we can leave tomorrow. You tell Colby, I'll tell Gracie and Taylor."
"Yes ma'am!"
