(Varian's POV)

Nuru talked to me that night as we drove, "I can feel your glare" I say to Nuru, still looking ahead, "I don't get it why can't you just talk to him and make everything better?" she accuse, more scolds me. "because" i state "beacuse what? you have to give me an actual reason Varian" Nuru states, i don't answer she moves closer "Varian?" she asks i sigh "i just- ugh" i groan frustrated "i just can't ok? people never listen to me when i talk and i don't want to deal with another failing converstaion that will go no where" i look over at her and see her thinking face.

"is this about what happend a few years ago in Crona?" she asks, i quickly look back at the road clenching my fists. "i'm going to take that respons as a yes, Varian you can't let the past stop you from fixing this future" she states "no one has listened to me before Nuru what makes you think they'll listen now?" i ask, she places a hand on my shoulder "because you're not talking to Raupnzel or Eugen or the whole kingdom, your talking to Hugo who cares about you will listen to what you have to say" she says and i know she's right, "if that isnt enought motivation i will stick you two out in the snow if you don't result this, preferably tonight" she states, i shiver but nod.

I pull the Caravan to a breif stop and switch spots with Azzy, who gives me a sympathetic smile, before I head back inside. Yong was fast asleep on his bed and Hugo is scribling away in a green notebook. The wind causes the door to slam behind me having me promptly shushed by Hugo. I roll my eyes and move to sit on the edge of his bed. "what do you want? want to yell at me again?" the blonde scoffs closing his notebook, i whince "no, i came to apologize" i state he rasies his eyebrows "really?" he asks "don't get your hopes up, Nuru threated to throw both of us in the snow if i didnt" i state, he shivers "good call" he sighs sitting up "I should probally apologize too, I, I have been babying you and I'm sorry. I just worry about you is all" he sighs.

"and I shouldn't snap at you, I know you worry, I just don't want you to worry about me, sorry" I state feeling remoresful. "apologize accepted, now about my question earlier" he starts I cut him off "look can we just, not right now? like yes I really want to be with you and stuff but I don't want to label it if you don't want to" I ramble "Varian, I want to be with you, i've just never done the relationship bit, its only ever been casual and i've never lo- liked someone this much" he says holding my hand.

"so boyfriends?" I ask worried, he grins "yeah, yeah boyfriends, only if you want too though" he says giddy, I smile "yeah yeah I really want to" I state, "now that we're on speaking terms again I looked over Nuru's star map and maped out our path in ink" he states, I slide beside him "so after Kresten Loch, we know we have to go pasted the underground labyrinth so that we can go around the forest of no reture to the first trial. which I think is the Water Trail but I can't be sure, from there the map takes us back old this time we have to go through the forest and- sorry maybe we should talk about it in the morning" he says as my head drips down to his shoulder "yeah tomorrow" i say closing my eyes. he chuckles and kisses my forehead.

Waking up the next morning to a burning smell, i blink my eyes open before jumping out of hugo's arms to stop Yong from making what he calls pancakes. I tell him to leave the cooking to us and start to clean up the mess before making some eggs instead. Once we stop I step outside to see that with driving through the night we are already at the other side of Krestan Loch, "smooth driving Azzy" I compliment as she hops off "thanks. you two kiss and make up?" Azzy teases I flush "we did make up, everything is fine now" I say "good, Nuru you hear that?" the redhead says looking over at the princess who peaks out her head from the front seat she doesn't say anything just smirks.

I groan and take her spot up front, Hugo appears next to Nuru before she walks off with Azzy I smile at him an he smiles back "where we heading Hugo?" I ask as he climes up to the front taking Azzy's spot "we need to head north towards the Lybrinth we don't go through it. we pass it heading through a short cut around the forest of no reture so we don't have to deal with that again" Hugo states, I shiver at the thought "yeah thats probally best" i confirm and with that we set our course.

"so boyfriend since we haven't gone on a date since our picnic where do you want our next destinaion to be?" Hugo flirts i roll my eyes playfully "i don't know where do you want to go?" i bump his shoulder, he turns away "maybe, Uncharted waters?" Hugo asks looking back at me with a worried smile, i look at him confused "what?" i ask "I- I was just thinking maybe we could go on an adventure of our own, ya know? like sailing or a island or just somewhere far away from Crona" he states.

I hold the reins steady, "we are already so far from the kingdom" stating the facts. He sighs "No i mean, like, go on a trip to get away from work and stuff" he says, i look ahead of us contemplating what he's saying "you know how much i'm needed in Crona, i don't think i can just up and leave for months, this is already going to put a huge strain on them and-" he cuts me off "this is what i mean, you have been so worried about what the kingdom thinks about you and not giving yourself time to rest, you want to rest right?" Hugo asks.

I see the look, the look in his eyes he has everytime he's worried about me. "Yeah of course i do, but i just want everyone to be happy thats all" i state "but what about your happiness V?" Hugo asks, i look in his eyes and only if those eyes can see into my mind then he would understand but- my thoughts are cut off by Hugo pulling the reins in my hand to a screching hult as we stare up at two large stone pillers.

"where are we?" i ask "Looks like the entrance to the Laybrinth, but we shouldn't have reach it till tomorrow morning at the very least" Hugo says climing off his seat confused. i follow as we walk into the pillers, a shiver is sent down my spine "theres magic here" i mumble he looks at me "how do you know?" the blonde asks "i feel it, a side effect that lingered after the moonstone took over, Cass has the same issue. its mischief magic" i sigh shaking away the ick feeling.

"what does that mean hair stripe?" my boyfriend asks, "it means-" i stop talking when a blue wisp of magic flies in front of us, then another, then another. "whats that?" Hugo whispers "i'm not sure" i say stepping forward, Hugo takes my shoulder "what in royals name are you doing!" Hugo whisper scolds me, "checking it out" i state pushing his hand off me as i step forward again. Then i look behind me and i'm in the laybrinth? with no Hugo!

"Hugo!" i shout looking around "over here!" his voice rings out, i look over and see him through the destroyed laybrinth yelling from the top of the stairs. "how did you get over there!" he shouts again "i don't know!" i answer looking around, its all rubble remains of a destroyed maze but i feel the presents of something around me, i turn back around and see the blue wisp only this time it has a shape. It whispers something.

"what was that?" i ask "danger" it whispers again before disappearing, i look around and see the path back to the steps, danger? i shrug and walk back towards Hugo it feels like something is watching me but I'm not sure who or what, i keep checking my surroundings but see no one, maybe i'm imaging things i make it back up the stairs and me and Hugo assure the others nothing is wrong, I switch with Azzy and let her and Hugo drive for a bit while i rest cause something is most definitely messing with my head, its all in my head it always is........

I'm going to be out of town next week so there may not be a post next week unless i can get the chapter set up before i leave, i'm trying really hard not to abandon this book for months on end and i would like it to be completed before i start school mid august but we'll see......byeeeee...........
