(Hugo's POV)

"...its just I want him to take a break you know, he works so hard and I care about him so much but he wont just rest and maybe I was too forwards and he reacted so harshly to the suggestion of us taking a break and- my apologize i didn't mean to rant" I say to Azzy she shrugs "I get it, Nuru is the same way, but i've learned its just better to let them figure it out themselfs you can help them realize it but at the end of the day its their decision" Azzy states "that's the thing last time I did he nearly died, granted part of that was due to me betraying them but still!" I shout pulling on the reins.

"Maybe you should give him some space just for a little bit, till he can process what you said?" Azzy suggests, I sigh "yeah probably" I look down at the ground and watch it shift? I look back up "fuck" I curse, "what?" Azzy asks "this was Exactly what I was trying to avoid, we somehow wandered into the forest of no reture" i sigh. "is that bad? it sounds bad" the red head says "yeah its bad, really bad" i sigh knocking on the window panel, Yong opens it "yes?" he asks "ask varian if he still has that map from Adira" I state, I see his eyes go wide.

"I though we were going around the forest of no reture this time around?" Yong asks I sigh "I guess the forest had other plans, don't worry i'll get us out of this" I state, he nods and disappears for a moment before handing me the paper origami thing. "Azzy you drive i'll direct, maybe what i learned from Varian will be useful" i mumble before handing over the reins.

We shift back and forth as i hope nightfall won't come soon, Unfortunately hope is for suckers. "Hugo its night" Yong whispers out the window, "yeah i can see that" I say annoyed "we need to camp out for the night" Nuru states peaking her head out the loft window "no we can't we don't know what will happen" I state "babe, we need to stop" Varian's voice rings, I look up and see him on the roof, I sigh "fine, but we're taking shifts" I sigh, Azzy pulls the reins to a halt.

I feel like we're being watched and we probally are. "I'll take first watch, go get some rest Hugo" Nuru states, before I would be totally against it but since that magic trick at Kreston Loch I'm willing to trust her easier, "i'll stay up with you" Azzy volunteers, that makes me feel even better. I nod and head inside and laying down on my pillow being dragged into a nightmare.

"hello?" my voice echo's in the dark, I walk forward when someone appears in front of me. "who are you?" I ask, no response the ground beneath me breaks causing me to fall further into the darkness, "wake up!" I shout but I hit the black ground, "ow" I mumble standing up. i've never had a dream last this long. I step forward carefully as the room fogs up I wave my hands around trying to clear the gray when I see Me? I look down at myself, I can't be older than eight.

"Hugo dear your suppost to be training" Donella's voice rings behind me "I know, I just wanted to give you something" young me says with a smile, I frown "she's not going to like it kid" I whisper to myself "well then hand it over" Donella states small me sticks out his hands "see? its a blue flower isn't it pretty, its pretty like you Ma'am" the child says with a wide smile I cross my arms feeling a pang in my chest as Donella crushes the flower in her hand. "this is a ridiculous gift Hugo, go back to training" the white haired woman scoffs.

Kid me sniffs before wipping his eyes and heading back outside. "how did i ever see her as a mother?" i ask myself. I hear voices behind me and turn seeing Varian's mom? i move closer, "this isnt my memories" i mumble "its mine" Varian's voice whispers beside me i turn to see him tears breching his eyes, i look forward again watching Varian's mom and dad fight yelling at each other, i see it though varian's eyes.

"i though you were to young to-" i cut myself off as Ulla yells, "I'm finding Donella and starting up this portal, you cant stop me!" Varian's mom shouts picking up her bag and storming out the door. Quirin sinks into the breakfast table chair before his eyes scan over and land on us, or more specifically little Varian "...let me get you back up to bed" Varian's dad says before the memory is gone and i'm opening my eyes not in the same bed i fell asleep in not in a bed at all!

I kick the flower monster trying to eat me causing the pink and green carnivore to drop me as it squeals. I look around and see all my friends being digested. "this is why we don't camp in the forest of no reture!" i shout before trying to pull my boyfriend out of the montser flower's mouth. "let him go!" i shout falling backwards as he lands on top of me waking up. "Hugo?" Varian asks "yes V, we need to save our friends" i state he wipes the remiain tears from the memory and starts mixing compounds. causing the flowers to wither from the alchemic bombs.

I help my friend off the ground until we are all free, slimy, but free. "whats our move here?" Yong asks as we're backed into a corner "hold your breath!" Varian shouts, We all do as he throws a green smoky bomb on the ground then we run once out of the clear i take a deep breath in and out "what was that?" i ask "stink bombs" Varian says with a smile. "wheres the caravan?" Azzy asks i groan "our map was in there!" i shout frustrated.

"its ok we'll figure this out" Nuru says, I kick a rock and watch it disappear down the path falling into a sand hole. "V?" i ask stepping forward Varian follows behind me and being stupid i stick my hand through "i'm going to go in, stay together" i state Varian grabs my collar before i can pull myself in "no you are not are you crazy!" Varian shouts i look up at him "I'm just going to check if its safe, i'll be right back" i smile and kiss him before diving head first into the sand. I appear on the other side, safe and just seeing the exist i stick my hand through pointing for them to come in. Varian grabs my hand and i pull him through only its not Varian "Donella!" i shout jumping away "Hugo, what a pleadent suprise" she says with a sly smile. oh i'm fucked..........

I've been feeling not the greatest and i'm overly stressed for school so chapters may become scarce for a bit, i'm going to try to post as much as i can in the next two weeks but i can't make any promises thank you for your understanding byeeee!...........
