CH 19 Ishani

Hey guys would just like to give you a timeline of the events happing incase you are getting confused .

1st December 2022 scandal came to the fore front .

Same year Ishani's dad passes away , same year miscarriage and a few months before that her brother passes away .

3rd court hearing 22nd March 2024

4th court hearing 1st April .

Judge : You may start with the proceedings , I hope the case will move ahead now its been a year and still we are stuck on the same topic , the same evidences , doing the same job is boring , now you can only make my job interesting , its in your hands . Other wise people will say tarikh pay tarikh , tarikh pay tarikh ( date after date date after date ) . What say Miss Ishani .

( Everyone in the courtroom laughs except Ishani and her mom they look down in shame .)

Udhav : ( laughs ) My Lord uski naubat hi nahi ayengi ( luckily that day won't come ) , because today I have brought such a strong proof in favor of my client that I think Ishani Malhotra will be proved as a culprit and be punished for her brutal crimes .

( Chakara Narayan is above to object but the Judge interrupts him )

Judge : That I will decide who will be punished you just do your job of being an advocate .

Udhav : Yes My Lord with your permission I shall being with the court hearing .

Judge : Permission granted .

Udhav : My Lord in the last court hearing we saw that how Ishani Malhotra lost her child because of her addiction . It was proved my Lord in front of you and everyone present here that she had lied that she never took drugs although she did . We had shown you the evidences .

Judge : Udhav ji I know that boddha hu matlab yadash kamzor hai esa nahi iss takt pay bay vajah nahi behetha hu , to aage badhiye bar bar wo sab mat dauhrahiye ( don't repeat the same things again and again I am sitting on this throne for a reason not because I have a short term memory . I agree I am old but I still have a sharp memory ).

Udhav : As you say My Lord . With your permission I would like to ask Mr Viraj to come in the witness box .

I dint want to look at him , I dint even wanted to hear his voice but I did anyways . He also looked at me . Udhav's words that he has brought a very strong proof against me were ringing in my mind . What proofs has he got ?, from where are they gathering such proofs?

What have I done , I myself don't know .

I have turned teary mom is catching my hand tightly with love calming me down .

Before we left for the court . Ritesh had come to my room. I was still sitting on the bed not ready to stand and walk and come to the court . That's when he entered my room on his wheelchair . Half an hour had left I had to go to the court but I was still in my room wearing a black shirt , white wide leg formals paired with a brown belt , minimal gold earrings and my hair tied in a bun my white blazer still lying on my bed waiting for me to wear it .



'Isha ' He called me .

I looked at him , he was on his wheel chair looking more enthusiastic than yesterday . He came dragging his wheel chair close to me looking at him I couldn't resist but cry silently .
