When it happened, Percy and I were in our room relaxing before dinner. I was reading a book and he was polishing Riptide. What alerted us to it was several dull thuds followed by aggravated shouts. Percy and I looked up at each other. I put my bookmark in my book and placed my feet on the ground.

"You heard that right?" He asked. I nodded.

"Sounded like.."

"PERCY!" Someone screamed at the top of their lungs. They didn't sound distressed though, just angry. I tugged on my shoes as Percy opened the Cabin door. We didn't have to step too far outside to realize what was got in on and why people were angry.

The Ares kids were filing out of their Cabin soaking wet and water was gushing out the Cabin door. "Saltwater." I murmured after taking a couple of sniffs. I could smell it from where we were standing but that's not the worst part. The worst part was the foul smelling kelp and seaweed. The Ares Cabin reeked of it and we could smell it from where we were standing.

"VIOLET!" Clarisse shouted in annoyance as she flicked kelp off her wrist. Percy and I gulped as we walked towards the Cabin. "What in the gods name!" She shouted shoving Percy as we walked up.

"Hey! Whoa! We didn't do this." I said pointing to Cabin. The water was still flowing and from where we were standing I could see that it was coming out of the sprinkler system. How could seawater be coming out of the sprinkler system in such large amounts?

"Yeah, we didn't. I mean, the seawater and the kelp makes it seem like we did but we didn't." Percy said with an easygoing smile.

"Percy and I aren't coordinated enough about this kind of stuff." I offered as more Ares kids marched over.

"They're lying! This has Poseidon kids written all over it!" Some beefy guy shouted. I spotted Axel off to my left scowling in my direction.

"What? Just became of some saltwater?" I demanded looking back into the Cabin. I made a twisting motion is the my wrist, effectively turning off the sprinkler system. None of the Ares kids looked impressed though.

"Nice sis." Percy said, high-fiving me. I laughed.

"Get them!" Someone shouted in the back. Several people charged forward.

"Whoa whoa hey! Two Posideon kids against the entire Ares Cabin?" Percy exclaimed as they circled us.

"I say we skin them!" Someone shouted out

"Oh man, I really like my skin on me." Percy murmured.

"How about we just beat them to a pulp. Break all their bones." Someone else suggested.

"I like my bones unbroken thank you." Just as the Ares kids were about to grab us, the ground bellow us began to shake and up shot several skeletons, swords and guns drawn.

"Touch them and I'll send you straight to my father." A voice rang out, cool and crystal clear. I sighed in relief as the crowd parted a little, revealing Nico, his hands shoved into his jean pockets, his sunglasses above his forehead as he glared at everyone. His eyes kept flashing from red to black and back again.

With a lot of grumbling and several hundred curse words, the Ares kids flipped us off and stormed back to their Cabin to clean up the mess. Axel hung around the longest, glaring at me like I had personally wronged him. Scoffing, he followed his other siblings. He's only been here a week how have I offended him?

The skeletons disappeared revealing more of our friends. Annabeth walked up to Percy, rolling her eyes before giving him a small hug. "I thought you were sea foam back there Jackson."
