Riley quietly passed a note to Val, hoping that the teacher wouldn't notice this, the last thing that she needed right now was to get in trouble even though the couple did this all the time.
'I miss you' it wrote on the paper. Val then gave a small laugh, before looking at Riley then writing on the note. 'I'm sitting right next to you, dummy' she said adding a red heart next to it.
Riley took the note, blushing a bit as she wrote next. 'Well I'm still allowed to miss you, it's a free country right?' As she handed the note back to Val.
Val shook her head as she smiled, grabbing her pencil adding one more thing. 'I love you Ri' she said handing it back to the girl.
Riley opened up the note, taking a look at it. She then got butterflies before grabbing the note, and stuffing it away in her bag. She would keep this as a memory to cherish for years to come.
