Riley and Val were taking a walk through the park, it was nice to get out of the house and go somewhere. Especially on a day like this Val loved the most.
It was now fall and all of the leaves had fallen to the ground, making a really cute mess of colorful leaves on the ground. But to admit it was the most gorgeous thing to see. The sun was out, but still had its fair of wind rolling through.
Val then looked over at Riley, seeing her start to shiver a bit. She knew that they weren't a couple, but she hated seeing her cold.
She decided over her thoughts, and finally came to ask.
"Uh-Riley? D-did you wanna borrow my sweater, you look like your shivering a little there," said Val nervously but confidently.
Riley looked at her, blushing. Was her crush offering her sweater to her?
"Are you sure? I dont wanna just take it and leave you cold." She said
"It's fine, for me I love this type of weather. Plus it doesn't really bother me," she chuckled.
She handed over her sweater to Riley, as she put it on. The soft material brushing against her skin made her feel warm all over. The scent of Val all over it, she felt warm inside and out the rest of the afternoon.
