"Come on, I promise you a little lesson won't hurt in the slightest." Val turned to the blonde who was already trembling looking at the rink."I-I don't know, Val. I mean, I've never done anything like this before. What if I-"
The brunette cut her off, not wanting her to think the worst before this happened. "hey, hey you're gonna be okay. I promise I'll hold your hand the entire time, and I would never let you fall in my dreams."
"Only in your dreams?" The blondes sudden nervousness turned playful, she smirked looking up to Val.
"Oh, you know what I mean dear." Val replied as she gave her a light smile, nudging her.
"Okay, I'm ready." Riley's sudden confident shining through her true demeanor.
"That's what I like to hear." Val winked at her as she got onto the rink.
She grabbed Riley's hand as she stepped on, guiding her through although she could tell the girl was a bit shaky.
"I'm gonna crash. Val, I'm gonna crash!" She told repeatedly a few times, a concern rising up in her partner.
"Riley, just try and focus. Pretend we're on the ice rink right now, not the roller rink. Think your ice skating, gliding through as you move. Deep breaths my sweet." She soothed her, slowing down as she was matching her pace.
Riley smiled a bit as she was catching on, remembering the words that Val had told her.
Soon enough she was gliding freely, spinning and even skating backwards as if she was on the ice itself.
"Val, I'm doing it!" She smiled, happy with her progress.
"I think you're doing great, Riley." Val smiled, a soft kiss on her cheek as the continued to skate.
