I had a really long day at work, and the last thing I wanted to do was come home and not see her sprawled out in the couch watching tv so so could cuddle up next to her.
At this point, it was kind of a routine that we had. Only in days that I had worked long hours though.
As I got home, I was working up a sweat from the humid air. The summertime was really getting to me, and I was hoping it to be over with soon. Especially with fall coming up quickly.
I unlocked it, turning the knob.
She was sitting on the couch, scrolling through the channels, before finally finding something she liked. I, on the other hand was just happy in general that she was there.
"Hey V, how was your shift?" So asked turning to face me
"It was okay, really long day as usual." I replied stretching my arms out before taking my coat off, making my way over to my girlfriend
I laid down on top of her, getting comfortable. She sighed, and chuckled a little bit before kissing my cheek as she ran her fingers through my hair. The sound of her soft breathing slowly lulling me to sleep.
