A lot of stories start with 'Once upon a time...'' I've always wondered why. I mean, it's not like life is a fairytale, so why then do people write as though it is? I figured it's because they're written for kids. Yet I still find them fascinating. Not by their plot, of course, but by the way they easily fool kids. They talk about Princes and Princesses and they always end with '..and so, they lived happily ever after.' Ha, yeah, right. That's what they say. Funny how they never seem to mention the low lights in life; the tough times. They only include the fun, happy times. Not a good thing to teach the next generation. You need to learn to expect the unexpected. Not expect that life will always run smoothly.
