This had to be the most thinking and effort I put into anything that remotely didn't matter.
It was honestly impressive how far we came already.
Or how far the plan has progressed.
We used the last few school days to thoroughly think this through and finalize some things and for an odd reason I still felt like this was wrong— even though I agreed to do such.
It was like seventy percent of me just wasn't on board with it, but I was trying to listen to the other thirty percent more.
I was already halfway into this portion of it, might as well follow through.
Today was a friday also known as my second day of the week where I have to go to Richwood and one thing I learned since my short arrival is that they're always partying.
It's almost a party everyday here.
But I noticed that Pearl and her friends manage to go out on Friday's specifically.
Which gave us time to plan.
And with that, tonight's plan was to try and get pictures or visual evidence of what consisted of these parties— meaning I couldn't back down and leave this time.
Well I could, I was just forcing myself to stay.
Thinking about it in depth really made this seem like a horrible idea.
As soon as the final bell rang it seemed like everyone sprung into action.
"Are we hitting Midnight again today?" Lucas asked as he packed everything into his bag.
Pearl briefly hummed, "We are, I don't know if they will be," she said motioning to the rest of us.
And I couldn't help but notice Corey's stare that seemed to avert to me immediately.
Like she was waiting for my response.
It shouldn't even matter especially after what she said to me on Monday, regardless of if I was going or not.
Even with her deep stare on me, I still managed to force my eyes away from hers, despite her looking absolutely amazing today.
From the short glances I took throughout the day, she had on a black and white graphic hoodie, gray baggy jeans and converse, all topped with her usual jewelry.
"Yeah I'll be there," I confirmed, which managed to elicit a small smile from Pearl.
"What about you three?" She questioned, referring to Milo, Roy and Corey who have yet to give a clear response.
And I couldn't lie, I did want to see what her response was going to be.
"I'm going to pass—"
"I'll go," Corey said, accidentally cutting off Roy which earned a titled look from him along with everyone else.
"I guess we're all going then," Milo said, pulling his confused look away from Corey and onto Pearl who clasped her hands together in excitement.
"Can't wait to have a full group outing again," she said, sliding her purse strap up her shoulder, "It's four now, so we could all go back to my place to pre game and then leave at six," she suggested.
It was like my ears immediately perked up.
This seemed a little too perfect.
After a fifteen minute walk to her house— which wasn't that surprising since the majority of the people who went to either schools live in close proximity, we had finally made it.
