With Halloween rapidly approaching in almost two weeks I became extremely busy in a matter of days.

I dont think ive ever been this stressed out in my life.

I'm working overtime basically for both schools trying to set these events up as well as getting approved for everything.

And I was honestly regretting everything, we didn't even plan out what I'd do when it came to the SATs or my final AP exams.

It was just a bunch of unnecessary work and I just now came to the realization.

As soon as the bell rung I rose from my seat in a hurry and slid my backpack strap over my shoulder.

"She can't wait to get away from us," Myles loudly whispered in Chanel's ear.

Safe to say that they were still slightly mad about the first of the month movie incident, but I've been trying my best to make it up to them by hanging out more.

But today I absolutely have to go.

I shot Myles a narrowed look, "I already told you guys I have an important after school meeting today," I said waiting behind the sea of people trying to leave the classroom.

Myles hummed, "After school meeting is codeword for her girlfriend," he loudly whispered again, nudging Chanel.

I rolled my eyes exiting the room as they followed closely behind me.

"What time is the meeting over?" Chanel asked as we walked down the crowded hall.

"Maybe fiveish, latest five-thirty because that's when the school closes," I explained.

I hoped I wouldn't be there until five thirty again.

After I got back from Corey's house two weeks ago, I got extreme questioning done and I needed to use Chanel as my alibi. Which took a lot of convincing since she was still upset about me missing movie night.

But in the end I basically got a slap on the wrist with the usual just try to be earlier next time.

I was just thankful I didn't get grounded, because that would have messed everything up.

"You want me to be down the street by five-twenty?" Chanel asked as we walked out of the front gate.

I nodded, "Same spot as last time? We could hang out later?" I suggested.

"Oh yeah my moms making banana bread so we gotta do banana and sip." Myles said as we walked through the student parking lot.

Which was my cue to depart.

"I'm definitely in, catch you guys at five." I bid them goodbye before beginning my journey to Richwood.

I'm only going to today's meeting, hence why I missed the whole school day for Richwood.

I could always just say I just got back in town since I haven't been there in three days, but me and Corey have been keeping contact surprisingly.

It's just a few messages here and there making sure I'm okay and even though it's not a lot I still find myself smiling at the little check-ins.

And even just thinking about them now has me strangely smirking.

I really have to figure out what's up with me.

After about a ten almost fifteen minute walk, I finally made it to Richwood which wasn't as crowded as it is once school lets out.

But there were still a few people scattered outside.

I walked in the building into the empty hallway to go to the art room.

Where I'll remain for the next two hours.
