Five stopped the car by a place called Griddy's Doughnuts before he walked over to your side and opened the door for you.
"Where are we?" you asked "'Griddy's Doughnuts" Five said as he looked at the diner "It's a place I used to come with my siblings when I was young" he said "Yeah, I remember you told me how you and the others used to meet up on a night after missions and sneak out of the house to go to Griddy's together" you said as you grab his hand and the two of you approached the diner.
"Can I get a frosted chocolate doughnut and a hot chocolate with marshmallow?" you asked "Of course you can Sweetpea" Five said before he opened the door as the two of you enter.
The diner was almost empty, except for a single man that got up and walked out the door.
Five lifted you up before putting you down on a chair by the counter. He then sat down next to you before impatiently hitting on the bell that was in front of him.
Then a man entered the diner Five let out a sigh as the man took a seat next to him.
The man had a yellow and black plaid shirt on underneath a puffy vest. He wore jeans and boots.
You hit the bell causing it to made a ding noise and you smiled as you hit the bell again and again.
But then Five took your hand "Don't, please" he said "Sorry" you said "It's okay" Five said before he push the bell away and ruffled your hair which caused you to giggle.
The man exhales deeply before he looked down at the menu he was holding in his hand. Five sighed as he looked down at his hands that were clasped together on the counter.
The sound of dished clattering was heard before the door to the back opened and an older woman in a pink uniform walked out before she approached the three of you.
"Sorry, sink was clogged" she said and chuckled "My name is Agnes. And what'll it be?" she asked as she pulled out a pen and a small notepad out of her apron "Uh, give me a chocolate éclair" The man said "Mm-hmm. Sure" Agnes wrote it down on her notepad before she looked at you and Five.
"Can I get the kids a glass of milk or something?" she asked before looking back at the man, thinking that it was his kids which caused Five to scoff.
"This kid want coffee. Black" Five said and Agnes looked at him with widened eyes for a few seconds before she looked back at the man "Cute kid" she and chuckled.
"I would like a frosted chocolate doughnut and a hot chocolate with marshmallows, please" you said and Agnes looked at you with a smile "Cute kid" she said "Thanks" Five said and Agnes looked at him who gave her a fake but little creepy smile.
"Okay" she said, sounding a little uncomfortable before she turned away to get the order.
"Don't remember this place being such a shithole" Five said causing the man to look at him "Swear" you said "Sorry" Five said before he looked at the man.
