You were looking down at a caterpillar that was in your palm. It was crawling around in your palm which caused you to smile.
"Y/n/n!" Five called out and with the caterpillar still in your palm you rushed over to Five.
"You always have to stay close to me, okay?" Five said and you nodded.
"I found something" you said "What did you find Kiddo?" he asked and you opened your palm to show him the caterpillar "Look" you smiled "That is a very nice caterpillar you have there" Five smiled as he crouched down so he was in eye leve with you.
"Can I keep it?" you asked and Five looked at you "No Kiddo" he shook his head "Why? I promise to take care of it" you said "I know, but a caterpillar is not a pet, they belong in out in the wild, not in captivity. And I think it will be really sad if you take it away from its home" he said "You are right" you bend down before opened your palm and the caterpillar crawl out of your hand and onto the ground.
While you set the caterpillar free, Five turned on the radio before he pulled up his sister's book, the one with all the equations before taking some steps back.
Today 22th November 1963. It was the day president JFK was going to be assassinated.
You and Five had being sent to Dallas, so you were now standing by a parking lot by the fences.
Five have tried to studie the equations every since he got stuck in the apocalypse. He have working none-stop and now he have finally found the right equations.
So today was the day that Five were sent to 1963 on a job by The Commission to make sure that president JFK was assassinated and you went with him as always.
But today was also the day Five were gonna break his contract with The Commission, so you and him could travel back and stop the apocalypse from happing.
Five was looking through the book before he pointed to one equation and nodded his head "This is the right one" he said before he looked at you.
"Are you ready Y/n?" he asked "To what?" you tilted your head while looking up at Five.
"To leave" he said "Are we going back to the Commission?" you asked "No" he shook his head.
"Then where are we going Five?" you asked "We're going home kiddo" he said "I thought The Commission was our home" you said "It was never our home, but it was either that or staying in the apocalypse and you would have died if we have stayed in that broken world" he said before letting out a sigh.
Five have realized that you and him were helpless and vulnerable in the apocalypse, Five was frustrated about getting out of the apocalypse and The Handler took advantage of that. She never truly wanted to help you or him.
