You were holding Five's hand tight as the two of you and The Handler was walking towards the Commission's headquarter.
"I must admit, Number Five. In all the time that I've been here, I've never met anyone quite like you" The Handler said "Hello, Handler" a man said as he walked past the three of you.
"Hazel and Cha-Cha, for example, are talented, certainly, but...they can't see the big picture. Both of you spunk, your enterprising spirit, well, it reminds me a great deal of myself, if...I may be so vainglorious" she said before you walked up the steps that lead to the front door of the headquarter.
"If things work out for you two here, you could potentially make a fine successor" The Handler said before you three entered the headquarter "I mean, little Y/n can even take over after you" she said "I told you already, Y/n is not gonna be part of this" Five said "Then why did you take her with you?" she asked "I tried, but she refuse to stay behind, beside I can't leave her back in 2019 alone, knowing that the apocalypse will still happen" he said.
As soon as you enter, The Handler took off her jacket before handing it to a man.
"I'd like to discuss the logistis of my family's safety at your earliest convenience" Five said as you kept holding his hand as you and him followed her up the stairs.
"As well as this body replacement and Y/n will get her regular body and consciousness back" Five said.
"Such chutzpah. It's refreshing, I'll admit. Slow down, you two. All in good time. In face, now that you Five finally agreed to work with us, we've got all the time in the world" The Handler said as you walked up to next steps before you turned right in the hallway.
"The Commission works in support of a delicate balance between the time line of events and mankind's free will" The Handler said as the three of you walked past the briefcase room causing Five to look at the room.
"The briefcase is no longer part of your kit Five. Free your mind. You are management now. One of us" she said as they walked past the room and The Handler continued to show you and Five around the headquarters.
You kept holding Five's hand while you looked around.
"Alright, anyway. All the people on this floor are case managers, each one responsible for one major event at a time" The Handler said as they looked into a room filled with people that was all sitting by their desk while typing on a typewriter.
You peek into the room from behind Five.
"So many of them" Five said "Impressive, isn't it. Being part of something...so grand" The Handler said as you could hear indistinct chatter and phones ringing.
"Come along" The Handler said as she walked away while you looked into the room.
"Kiddo, come on!" Five called out and you rushed up to him before grabbing his hand as you and him continue follow the Handler.
