Loser Like Me: Glee Cast
"Hey, sis. I got your message." Rachel enters the choir room.
"Hey." I grin. "Thanks for coming."
"Of course. What's up?"
"I know you're probably set in stone to sing your original song, but, I just wanted to play mine. For you. I finished it last night. And, um, you're the most talented and experienced person I know, so, I just...I wanted to play it just once, to my sister from another mister."
Rachel smiles and sits. "I'm be honored."
"Okay." I exhale and look at the piano keys. "Okay." I play the keys.

"Guys, I've got some bad news. You know how we decided on Sing by My Chemical Romance for Regionals? Well, I hold in my hand a cease and desist letter from the band. We can't do it." Mister Shue holds up a piece of paper and I fall off my chair.
"You knew this was coming, man. You could've prepared her." Finn and Brandon help me up.
Puck sighs. "It was the perfect anthem."
"How much do you wanna bet Coach Sylvester had something to do with this?" Mercedes asks.
"One step ahead of you." Mister Shue tells her.
"Okay, well, while you go do that, I'm gonna, uh, go fling myself off a building." I nod and get up. I step down, and stumble forward. I feel Sam grab my arm and I send him a nod before walking towards the door.
"Babe, wait. Just wait." Finn rushes over and stops me.
"So, what are we gonna do now?" Mercedes wonders.
"I think we should write original songs for Regionals." Rachel looks at me and nods.
"All those in favor of voting Rachel down a second time?" Santana raises her hand and the others join expect for me, Finn and Brandon.
"No. I think Rachel is right." Quinn speaks up. "This team works best when we push ourselves and do something a little different."
"Well, that's true, but if all the other teams are doing amazing songs, we're not gonna be so good." Mercedes replies.
"You're right. We're not gonna be as good. We're gonna be better. We won't be using other people's words or music. It'll be our own. Our own heart, soul, not just our voices. We have two really talented songwriter in our midst." She looks at me. "And, Rachel, I was thinking maybe you and I could write a song together."
"Violet, what do you think?" Brittany looks at me.
"I wanted to agree with Rachel the first time around, but I didn't think you guys would listen. It's like you already made up your minds." I shrug.
