Hindi ko alam kung anong mararamdaman ko. I feel like I'm being played with. I don't know what Lestari wants to do, it feels like she's playing with me. I don't know what happened, she suddenly disappeared again. She hasn't talked to me again.
It's the sixth day today without any word from her. Today is also the book launch of the book I worked so hard on. We had plans to meet today, now that I know what she looks like, I'm determined to find her today. The convention center where the book launch is taking place with my fellow writers, is huge.
Even though I'm losing hope, I still smile at those who approach me and express my gratitude for their support for my book.
It seems like they're not offended by each other as they seem used to each other's personalities.
"I'll take your last name so you could have mine? Wow, smart move, Mrs. Fuentes,"
"In your dreams,"
"You're the dream." Ross said with a wide grin.
"Mama mo, dream," she replied. Ross chuckled before shaking his head and signing the girl's book.
"Love, your number one fan in life. I love you, Sylvia Euradice Fuentes. See, much better," Nakangising basa ni Ross sa isinulat niya sa libro nito. The girl blushed as she took back the book and rolled her eyes before leaving, but I called her. Ross looked at me.
"Oo, bakit?" I got nervous because she seemed serious and intimidating. Ganito ba talaga siya? Paanong nagustuhan ito ni Ross? Parang kaya niyang makipag suntukan eh.
"I know her as a supporter of my books, we talked and she was supposed to come here to the event today but she doesn't seem to be here," I said with a bitter smile. "Do you know anything? Did she tell you something? Nag-aalala ako sa kaniya." I continued. I saw how her eyes darted around and couldn't look straight at me.
