Chaotic Love (SONADOW)

Chapter 15

*Sonic's POV *
"Your family?" Shadow asked confused and I nodded. "What do you mean? I thought your family was dead. I thought it was you and the fox?"

"No one knows about this because my mother made sure no one found out, paid out everyone that knew about it and destroyed all evidence." I shrugged. "I didn't want anyone to know because they'd treat me different at know Aleena is my mother and I'm a triplet." I chuckled at seeing his reaction for that.

He stayed quiet, I guess he was trying to connect the dots on everything. He couldn't believe I was a prince and I didn't blame him, I certainly didn't act like one.

"Let's go to the castle. My mother will be able to protect you from GUN. Maybe by making you a guard if you don't mind working for my family. I promise I will leave you alone after that. Just let me help you."

*Shadow's POV *
We spent the night in the hotel room, I took the couch while he took the bed. The next morning we went to the dinner next door and we sat down to eat, our hoods up so no one would recognize us.

"You made a friend, I see. Good to see you aren't alone anymore." The lady accross the counter said as we sat down in front of her. She was talking to Sonic making me kind of annoyed at the big smile she gave him.

She reached over the counter and fixed the hood for him making my hands turn into fist under the counter. I was shocked over my own actions, specially when I moved closer to Sonic without even realizing it.

"Yes, I decided to go back home. Thank you for yesterday by the way." He smiled back at her making me roll my eyes. We ordered our food and I ate in silent as I heard them chat.

"It's good to hear that, Hun. It's not healthy to be always on the run." She said and he agreed.

I was quiet as we ate. I was wondering if going to see his family would actually get me out of this. I also didn't want Sonic to think I was using him but I didn't know what to say or do. I wasn't used to showing how I felt or even talk about it.

I couldn't help but wonder if he really meant he wouldn't bother me again. I didn't want that, I actually wanted him close by me but there was no way I would ever say that to him.

We finished eating and I paid before he could.  I remained silent, still stuck on my thoughts. We left the dinner and started walking.

"Shad?" Sonic snapped me out of it by whispering the nickname he has for me.

"Stop calling me that." I rolled my eyes and fixed the hood I was wearing.

"Sorry. Are you okay? You've been quiet." Was he really not gonna bother me? Was he really going to stop calling me that nickname?

He said all he wanted was to help me and make sure I was happy. Did that mean he was just going to leave after he helped me? Did he mean he was happy just to have figured out I was alive?

I couldn't help but get mad at myself at this. He had gone through enough. The least I could do was tell him how I felt too, right? I decided I would never actually say it if I tried so I went for it since I had already kissed him once, I could do it again, right?

I was wrong. My plan was to kiss him when we were alone but all I did was pin him to a wall and get close to his face. My face was heating up as I looked at his lips, I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it now knowing it was Sonic.

Sonic gasped and I saw as his face and ears turned red. "Shadow...?" He said which made me angrier. It was the last straw for me which made me actually do it. I kissed him.

He melted with the kiss and immediately kissed back. I wasn't sure what to do so I stayed how I was, my hands on either side of his head as I deepened the kiss. I couldn't help it, I loved the feeling and I didn't want it to end. Sonic moved his arms around my neck and gave me a soft smile. He moved one hand and guided ny arms to his waist.
