this chapter is kind of a bonus chapter between ep 10 and 11 - i had the idea of writing it from the beginning and i hope you love it!

"You stayed," Were the first words to cross Billie's lips as she slowly opened her eyes to be met with the sight of Jamie Tartt in her bed, lying on his side, propped up on his elbow, not daring to admit that he had been in that position for at least twenty minutes, just soaking up every detail of the woman who lay beside him.

"Man of my word, ain't I?" Jamie smiled as he leaned towards her, with the intention of giving her a morning kiss, but Billie who was lying on her stomach, was quick to cover her mouth with her hand, "You not gonna let me kiss you?"

"Need to brush my teeth," Billie told him, "Got morning breath."

"I really don't care," Jamie assured her, "And when you think of the places my mouth ended up last night..."

"Shut up," Billie laughed as she rolled onto her back, reminded of the several rounds of sex that had occurred before the pair wound up intertwined in each other's embrace out of exhaustion.

"Fucking love that laugh," Jamie muttered as he leaned over her, placing gentle kisses to her lips, "Fucking love you."

"I love you," Billie mumbled against his lips, running her hands through his messy bed hair, "Does this mean our anniversary is going to be the same day as a funeral?"

"Do you want it to be?" Jamie asked, trailing a hand over her cheekbone, "Because I loved you long before I told you."

"Since when?" Billie raised her eyebrows in genuine intrigue.

Jamie took her hand in his, placing it against his chest, letting her feel his steady heartbeat, "Choose the thing that makes you feel most alive," He repeated her words from the night they broke into Nelson Road almost six months ago, doing an impression of her South West London accent.

"Is that meant to be me?" Billie grinned, her heart thumping at the thought that Jamie had loved her for so long and said nothing, not to mention that she had spent so long doubting whether he felt the same way. But she wouldn't have had it any other way, they weren't ready six months ago, they had needed that time to heal and love themselves first before they could love each other fully.

"Yeah, obviously," Jamie smirked, "You and your posh London voice."

"I'm not fucking posh, I'm from South London," Billie remarked with a smile.

"Babe, you're from the south, I'm from Manchester, any voice down here sounds fucking posh to me," Jamie reminded her with a genuine smile.

"But you love it," Billie smirked.

"Yeah, I fucking do," Jamie buried his face in the crook of her neck, peppering her skin with gentle kisses, "You're so fucking beautiful, Bils."

"Could say the same to you, lover boy." Billie mumbled as Jamie laid back on his side of the bed, Billie rolling back onto her stomach as Jamie trailed his fingers up and down her bare back.

He stopped when he saw a tattoo that he hadn't noticed before. She had a few small ones which he had seen before, but this one was on her ribs, and it definitely wasn't there the last time they slept together.

"You didn't have that last time." Jamie muttered, trailing his finger over the small tattoo of a bumblebee that was on the side of her ribcage.

"Last time you saw me naked?" Billie smirked, reminded of the times they'd hooked up last season, pondering on how different they both were as people.
