Deathbringer couldn't stop staring at that one book. He was dozed off so much, he forgot Glory was still there.

My mother never told me she wrote a book about being an assassin. Deathbringer thought. Deathbringer opened the book and immediately recognized his mother's handwriting.

She really did write this, it's not a fraud. I wonder why she never told me...

All of a sudden DeathBringer went out of his doze when he heard something come from the first floor. He heard a creak. He looked up but there was nothing there. "Strange" he mumbled. Then he heard fast wing beat flying away.

Okay, someone is definitely there... but why fly away unless... Anaconda!

Deathbringer rushed over to Glory and put his wings around her. "What are you doing Deathbringer?!" Glory said, but her yell was muffled by his wings. "Anaconda saw us" he whispered. Glory's eyes widened. "Well we need to follow her!" She yelled, pulling his wing off her.

"It's too risky, we need to call backup." "Fine, but don't come calling on me when we can't find her."

Deathbringer sighed.

Deathbringer could tell that the reason Glory was acting extra sassy wasn't to be mean, but it was because she was afraid. Glory had a tendency of three things when she was scared. She would either:

1. Depend on Deathbringer

2. Get more sassy and kind of mean

Or

3. Act calm and hide her fear

Normally she'd stick to either the first or last one but in this case she was sticking to the second one.

Deathbringer knew that even without venom, Anaconda was a strong foe. He could probably beat her in a one on one battle, but not without getting at least a few scars. It was pure luck that the one on his underbelly didn't scar.

All of a sudden Glory started looking sad. "D- Deathbringer, there's something I need to tell you..." Glory said with a shaky voice. "I- I think... I think Anaconda is my Aunt."
