Talking about his parents didn't help with his memories. Firefly looked at him with shock and sorrow.
"I- I'm sorry... how- when did they die?" She tried her best to ask. "One and a half years ago" he replied. His memories started coming back. Him standing there, watching as his parents fought with a RainWing. The RainWing jumping on her hind legs and sinking her fangs into his father's neck and spraying venom from inside. His father fell down on his back and shrieked, clawing at his neck to make it stop.
Less than a minute later his father lied dead on the floor.
His mother was still fighting and she managed to pin the RainWing down to the ground and shut her snout. The RainWing flailed viciously trying to get back up. Right when his mother was about to snap the RainWing's neck, the mysterious RainWing managed to get her back talons sunk into her underbelly. His mother yelled in pain and fell back as the RainWing shot venom into her mouth as she yelled. His mother shrieked before her snout started dissolving until her whole head had melted away.
Stargazer watched in horror as he saw both of his parents lying there, sprawled and with melted body parts.
"Mommy? Daddy?" He said. He started crying uncontrollably. He fell down onto his knees crying so hard. The RainWing walked closer until her head was right above his. He didn't dare look up.
"Hello young one" she said with a voice he'd never forget. Stargazer kept sobbing for who knows how long. "Would you like to join me?" She asked, generally quite curious. "This was the first part in my revenge... your parents... after my sister died, they stole her dead corpse and did experiments on it." Stargazer was terrified. He was only half a year old but he already could talk pretty well.
"No! My parents would never! Even if they did, I would never join u! U killed my parents!" He yelled filled with both rage, fear, and sorrow. "Very well, if you wish to join me... my name is Anaconda. You can find me near the vine field in the western hills on the jungle side."
Stargazer popped back into reality when he felt Firefly's warm scales against his. When he opened his eyes, he saw she was hugging him. He realized he was on his knees and tearing up in the real world too. Just like in his memory...
Except this time, there was someone he cared for helping him get through it.
Stargazer hugged her back and a few more tears came before comfort overflowed him more than anything else. He trained to be an assassin to protect dragons he cared for... and he wouldn't let anything happen to Firefly... even if it cost him his life.

Ehh? 🤨
Did you guys catch on? The Vine garden in the West?
Obviously part of the prophecy! Remember?
A flower in the east, a vine in the west, they are signals, go find the rest.
And
Of night, of forest, of rain, of jungle, all will hail, those with the bungle.
Haha! You see? I am adding the story to follow the prophecy! Don't ever doubt it!
Bye!
