Chapter Eleven - Deathbringer!

Glory woke up to the sound of her daughter speaking. Ugh, not now. Glory rolled over onto her other side. "Mom! Mom! You have to get up now or else dad will-"

All of a sudden a flash of black appeared and the hammock flipped over. Glory looked around confused until she realized what had happened. "DEATHBRINGER! WHY IN THE THREE MOONS WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT YOU SLOTH BUTT!" "Hey, watch your language. A younger audience is here after all." He said with a smug grin.

Glory leaped toward Deathbringer but the ex-assassin was too fast. She felt weight on her back. "Too slow" Deathbringer said, sitting on top of her. "Why you!"

"Don't worry, I have already made up for what I've done. You'll see what I mean once you get to the kitchen table."

Deathbringer got off of her but Glory was too tired to get up. "Meh, drag me there if you want me to come, I'mmmmmmmm tiiiiiired..." "Then so be it my glorious queen!" Deathbringer responded.

Glory thought he was going to walk away but instead, he took her by the tail and started dragging her. Glory just let him, she just wanted to sleep but if this breakfast was going to be supposedly 'so good' then she might as well save energy while still getting there.

Once they got to the kitchen, DeathBringer let go of Glory's tail and watched as she slowly got up. Firefly was about to grab a knife to cut an apple in half when Deathbringer said, "Hey! That's dangerous! You shouldn't use a knife at your age! You could cut yourself!"

"Here comes mommy dragon" Glory teased. Deathbringer frowned but she could tell he liked the nickname. "I'm pretty sure you're the only real mommy dragon here." He responded. Glory chuckled.

Once Glory saw a bowl of fruit salad filled with extra guava, she immediately grabbed the bowl and hugged it as if it were Firefly. Deathbringer snorted. "Firefly! Come on! Come to the table! I don't think your mom can last much longer just staring at the guava!"

Firefly giggled and came running. Once they were all at the table Glory scarfed her Guava. Firefly did the same when she saw her extra mango.

"Holy moons! Did you even chew?!" He asked them. "OBVIOUSLY!" Both Glory and Firefly said at the same time. They all started laughing.

"Ok, fine, I admit, we did eat that pretty fast." Glory said. "Oh, no, you totally didn't scarf that all down in one massive bite." Deathbringer said just as Glory whacked him in the face with her tail.

Man, who knew bad-ish days could turn out to be so good...
