Chapter Nineteen - Who was she?

Glory was still in shock at what happened. She couldn't believe a dragon would randomly attack the Queen. What surprised her the most though... was that the dragon... was a RainWing.

"There had to be some reason she came" Glory said aloud, breaking the silence. "Yes" agreed Deathbringer. "...and we have to find out what."

All of a sudden Firefly came racing in terrified. She must have seen the dead guards. Glory thought to herself. "What happened mom?! Dad?!" Firefly asked, almost yelling. Firefly's eyes widened when she saw Deathbringer's underbelly bleeding with a slash.

"We were attacked by a RainWing for some reason." Deathbringer said. "How about you? Did Stargazer keep you safe?" Glory asked, before realizing what she had said. Firefly looked at her with wide eyes. "How do you know about Stargazer?" she asked, slightly backing away. "I- I followed you two yesterday... I'm sorry, I was concerned and when I heard you yelling in the forest and saw a nightwing dragonet go with you somewhere... I just wanted to make sure you would be safe with him..." Firefly looked up at her slightly backing away.

Glory thought Firefly would hate her for the rest of their life but all of a sudden she felt warm scales. Glory looked down and saw Firefly hugging her. "I'm sorry too mom, I should have told you." She said, a few tears poring down. "Oh honey" Glory said hugging her back.

After a little while, Glory broke the hug to tell her something.

"Firefly, you need to stay safe. That RainWing is still out there..." Glory said. Firefly's eyes widened. "Wa- was the RainWing that attacked you... Female?" "Yes" Glory said concerned. "Wa- was her name... Anaconda?"

Glory held Firefly's shoulders. "What do you know about this RainWing?" Glory asked with a serious face on now. Firefly tried to back away but Glory didn't let her. "This- This happened to Stargazer's parents too... except his weren't so lucky..." 

Glory looked at her, eyes wide.

"Tell me" Glory said.

"Tell me what happened..."
