Chapter Seven - Was this my fault?

Was this all my fault? If she wasn't part nightwing she wouldn't have powers and she wouldn't have just had a prophecy. She might not have been in danger.

Was it wrong having a dragonet with Glory? Should he have let her have a dragonet with someone else so our daughter wouldn't be in danger?

"I know what you're thinking Deathbringer, it's not your fault, if it's anyone's fault it would be mine." Glory said. "What? No! That's not true Glory! It's not your fault! It's mine! She has powers because of me!"

"I'm pretty sure we both have fault, but to make up for it, we will always protect her in anyway we can... including using our life's." She responded back.

Deathbringer stayed silent. He knew he would protect the both of them with his life, but Glory shouldn't be blaming herself for my genes.

"Honey? Do you mind telling us the prophecy again please?" Glory asked. "Sure!" Firefly responded, just as her eyes turned full white again and her voice changed.

Belong to your heart, stay with the sun, forever keep memories, but make new ones.

Fly up high, fly down low, feathers above, you don't know where to go.

Find your beloved, he won't fail, stay with him, until your hearts unveil.

A flower in the east, a vine in the west, they are signals, go find the rest.

In the night sky, a star will shine by, gaze upon it, with your special eye.

Of night, of forest, of rain, of jungle, all will hail, those with the bungle.

The last one's wish, can make a fish, but careful of that, or we'll be in a pinch.

Finally, a star, will bring us far, but in the end, you'll find my Shard.

Firefly's eyes and voice went back to normal and then she said, "Wat was I sayin? I don't remember a thing abowt it." "I would tell you but it's a bit hard to copy and you probably won't understand it" Glory said. "Awwwww, ooooookaaaayyyyyy." Firefly whined.

"Come on, let's get you to bed, it's getting late."
