Chapter Twenty Four - Vine Garden | The Jungle Side

Deathbringer woke up early that morning. He knew he had to send a search party to look for that Rogue RainWing by Vine Garden on the Jungle side.

He didn't want to leave Glory but he knew he had to search with the guards.

Deathbringer carefully got out of bed trying not to wake up Glory. Unfortunately though, his plan didn't work.

"Whatcha doing Deathy?" Glory asked. Deathbringer sighed. "No, no, and no. You gotta stay here." He said. "Yes, yes, and yes. I am coming with you." She responded. "No Glory! It's not safe for you to come with me! Who knows? Anaconda could be waiting for you!" "But she's not"

Deathbringer sighed again.

"Fine, but stay close!" He said. "I'll do whatever I want Deathy. I am the Queen after all." "Exactly! You are vital to the Kingdom's survival! You must stay safe!" Deathbringer almost yelled. Glory rolled her eyes. "You must understand Glory... I can't lose you, not now." "That's why you won't. You act like I'm just a little weak pond, but I am strong! I can turn invisible! I have venom! I am a Queen! Please, I'm not a dragonet."

Deathbringer hugged her before whispering in her ear, "Just stay with me... okay?"

Deathbringer let go and he and Glory flew off, West of their hut. Deathbringer trusted Glory to stay with him. He knew that she knew how much she meant to him. And how much he meant to her...

After about ten minutes of flying, they reached the Vine Garden. They took a short break before they took off again North of the Vine Garden to get to the Jungle side. They both had done their best to memorize the RainForest, that allowed them to remember that South of the Vine Garden was the Forest side, and North of it was the Jungle side.

The Jungle side tended to be more sunny than the forest side but it had a tendency to rain often. While the forest side was darker because of all the shade it got with all the trees. It also tended to be more dangerous. Jaguars, cougars, crocodiles, bob cats, lots of dangerous animals live in the forest side. It's even known that some uncharted creatures live there. One uncharted creature was charted by a NightWing and he identified it as a bachaby. A strange bioluminescent creature that was turquoise that was like a worm but it was just like alive goo.

Glory shuttered at the thought of that strange creature. So much time had passed of her thinking about it that she had subconsciously kept flying and they were already about to land at a strange hut.

Glory landed right behind Deathbringer on a wooden board next to an old hut. The hut looked abandoned and out of place like it was a sudden death hole. Deathbringer walked in first and took a look around before signaling to her that it was safe. Glory walked in and noticed a strange looking floor board.

Glory pulled up the edge revealing a secret passageway to an underground hideout... perfect for a Rogue RainWing. Hmmm...

"Deathbringer, you might want to take a look at this." Glory said from her spot on the floor. Deathbringer looked back and saw what she was talking about. He walked over and looked through the hole. "Wait for my signal" he said before he dived into the hole.

Deathbringer looked around the room in shock at what he saw. He signaled for Glory to come down, but when she did, she couldn't believe what she saw. One side of the room had large written letters saying, 'Revenge List and how to kill them'.

Glory was terrified at what she saw.

Stab in heart before killing her dragonets and husband in front of her and then kill her fully. | ongoing

Glory was terrified just reading it... but what scared her more... was it was all written in blood.
