Chapter Twelve - Secret

After Firefly finished breakfast she told her parents she would be going out. "Ok! Be careful my little Firefly!" Deathbringer said as she ran out the leafy door.

Firefly wanted to see Stargazer again for some reason... she didn't quite know why though.

Firefly flew over to the spot where Stargazer had saved her and started yelling his name. "Stargazer! Where are you?! STARGAZER! IM NOT LEAVING UNTIL YOU COME OUT HERE YOU SCAREDY CAT!"

A black figure came flying down toward her, toppling her to the ground. "Eep!" Firefly said. Once they stopped she saw that it was Stargazer. "STARGAZER YOU FREAKIN IDIOT SLOTH BRAIN! WHY WOULD YOU-!" Stargazer shut her snout with his talon. "Well, If you are aloud to ask me that, then why were you screaming my name? Was I really that important to see?"

Firefly turned a light pink as Stargazer smiled.

StarGazer got up and walked her over to a small underground cave. It was covered by ferns and trees and grass and flowers to keep it hidden. "Wow" Firefly said amazed. "No one knows about this place besides me... well, now you too I guess..." Stargazer trailed off.

"Did you build and design this yourself?!" She asked in awe. "Yep, I dug it up with my own talons and planted the plants on top without no help." He said puffing up his chest. Firefly giggled. "Impressive" she said. "I know it is" he replied as Firefly playfully pushed him over. "Hey!" he retorted, but she just started walking in the cave. 

Firefly looked around as if there were mango's surrounding the cavern. "Wow! It really is impressive!" She said. Stargazer walked in and grinned. Firefly looked around in awe as she took in a breath.

By the entrance there were two moon globes, one on either side of the vine covered entrance. Once you got further in, there were more moon globes along with journals, diaries and scrolls on top of a desk. There were shelves full of books and at what she thought was the end, was a stone wall. She realized there were multiple sown together leaves that made up a doorway. Stargazer pulled up those leaves to reveal a room with a comfy large hammock and a night stand with one moon globe on it.

She realized that there was a small skylight at the end of the room to give a small light at night. During the day he had covered it with one large leaf.

Firefly looked around at the room. She could tell he worked hard.

I wonder how long it took to make this place...

"Oh it only took a month" he said aloud. Sloth butt! I forgot he could read minds!  If you're listening, KEEP OUT! "Jeez, ok, ok." He responded.

Firefly yawned and realized it was already starting to get late. "I gotta go, I should be back already." Firefly said. Right when Firefly was about to walk out, Stargazer grabbed one of her four arms. "Wait!" he called, gently tugging on her four arm.

Firefly looked back confused. All of a sudden Stargazer pulled her back and hugged her into a kiss. Firefly turned a bright yellow of shock and a light pink of happiness and comfort. Stargazer pulled her closer and she could smell his masculine scent. They stayed like that for who knows how long.

When Firefly finally pulled away she already knew she wanted to stay. She was supposed to be back by now but something pulled her to stay here. But I don't know what.

Stargazer crawled in the hammock and put out a wing as if offering her a place to sleep with him. Firefly decided to crawl in and join him as he pulled her closer with his wing. Firefly turned a full coat of light pink as she tucked her head into his chest. She could feel his masculine scent calming her.

Firefly tucked her wings in and slowly, started to fall asleep...

I know this chapter wasn't veeeeeeeeeery long... but it was longer than my usual. I hope this makes up for all my short chapters!
