Chapter Thirty Eight - Azalea

"Wha- What do you mean we can bring him back... and what's 'The Bungle'?" Firefly asked. The mysterious RainWing sighed. "We don't have much time but I'll give a short explanation... the Bungle is a special crown that will let the user control any amount of dragons and animals that are inside the Rainforest. I need to retrieve it so it doesn't get into the wrong hands... and about bringing Stargazer back... there is a special flower I created and named after myself... and Azalea. It has a special power, when someone picks it, it creates a special light trail to Starglow Lake... another one of my creations... but we have to be quick. The magic can only heal and restore him within one hour of the death."

"What do you keep meaning by my creations?" She asked quickly knowing they only had 43 minutes left. Azalea sighed again. "I am an animus ok?! Now do you want that nightwing to live or not?!" Azalea yelled. Firefly nodded her head frantically, still confused about how she could be an animus if there are no known RainWing animus in all of Pyrhia's history.

"Come on, grab that nightwing and follow my commands." Azalea said. Firefly did as told. Firefly would do anything to bring him back.

"Take a left" she said as they were flying. "The Flower is East of here"

Firefly kept flying as fast as she could. She could fly forever if it was for Stargazer. All of a sudden she saw a beautiful white and pink flower. It's the Azalea!

Firefly immediately flew over to it and picked it without dropping Stargazer who was lying on her back. The flower started making a glowing light trail through the forest. "Follow it" said the RainWing animus.

Firefly flew and flew for what felt like miles before she reached a glowing lake. Firefly immediately landed and placed Stargazer in the lake.

"Now, I know you won't understand this but repeat after me and then you will automatically say the magic words... corgiouscy."

Firefly repeated after Azalea. "Corgiouscy" All of a sudden Firefly's eyes started glowing. She was still conscious and could see what was happening, but she couldn't control her body. She was saying strange things she had never heard before and she didn't understand anything that she was saying.

Firefly watched as the lake started glowing and the water was forming under Stargazer. The water seemed to be hard even though it wasn't. The water was holding up Stargazer and became a short pillar of made of water.

The flower somehow floated in air and hovered above Stargazer body. Stargazer and the flower started to glow and all of his wounds disappeared before the flower wilted and fell down in the water. The flower started to turn to ashes and it ended up dissolving in the water.

The water slowly went back into place and Stargazer was left floating in the water. He didn't move. Firefly started crying before she saw him twitch his talons. "St- St- Stargazer?" she asked. "Yes?" He said with a shaky voice and a grin. "Stargazer!" Firefly yelled as she ran over to him. Firefly hugged him and pulled him into a kiss before pulling away. Firefly started whispering something in his ear. "Don't scare me like that ever again... I can't live without you Stargazer... I just can't."

All of a sudden the RainWing animus started talking again from behind her. "Don't forget our deal..." Azalea said before she disappeared.

Firefly knew she had to fulfill the task in her part of the deal but she needed to spend more time with Stargazer before she did anything else... she didn't ever want him to leave her like that ever again.
