Felix opened the door, heaving a huge sigh. Jisung immediately rushed to his side, hoping to hear that Minho had finally opened his eyes.

"What happened Lix? Is he okay?" Jisung asked.

"Yeah. Seems like he collapsed out of stress, everything else was completely normal." Felix said.

"Stress? But he seemed so-"

"Ji, we need to talk. Alone." Felix interrupted him, and locked eyes with Changbin.

The older man understood immediately and left the room after a silent communication with Felix.

"Felix, you're scaring me." Jisung mumbled, turning to look at the unconscious form of his Minho.

"The scars you saw," Felix began, and Jisung's breath hitched in his throat. "They look very old, Ji. I think you shouldn't jump onto conclusions unless Minho directly tells you their cause. Don't take too much stress, alright?"

"You're hiding something," Jisung said knowing the other man well.

"No, I'm just protecting my best friend." Felix sighed. He hesitated before speaking again. "If what I'm thinking is true, then the reason of him collapsing can be a trauma response, you know?"

Jisung felt his stomach churn at those words.

"We won't know anything unless Minho tells us himself. Don't stress too much about it, Ji. I'm sure Minho wouldn't want you to blame yourself." Felix said softly.

Jisung found himself incapable of forming words so he just nodded his head.

As Felix approached the door, he turned to his friend one last time with a sympathetic smile. "Take care of yourself too, hm? Changbin will be right here, so you can give him a quick call if anything happens."

"Thank you Lix, so much." Jisung said, a small smile forming on his face.

And with a short nod of his head, Felix turned the knob and left the room.

Jisung could only watch the time tick away and wait.

Wait until Minho was awake and in his arms again, so that he could assure him that he would always be safe with Jisung.

Whatever demons of the past Minho was carrying... Jisung hoped he could take them all away.

"Dad! Please," Seonmi wailed as her father wrecked apart his office.

"That bastard... How dare he!" Seonjae seethed, the alcohol he consumed earlier now taking over his body.

"Dad, please calm down." Seonmi said, carefully approaching the older man.

"Calm down? Calm down? That bastard came inside my own home, corrupted my own people and then had the audacity to say that my most trusted dog betrayed me?" Seonjae yelled, slamming a vase on the floor.

"Dad!" Seonmi cried out. "Minho is not a dog, for fuck's sake. And how can you trust his words over Minho's? He would never betray us-"

"Not everyone is a lovesick idiot like you, foolish girl." He spat. "This is why I never wanted you to take my place."

Seonmi's eyes widened and she resisted the urge to talk back. No, it would only worsen the situation. She couldn't afford it now.

She needed to get Minho back and have him say everything was false. She prayed he would get over with that goddamned mission soon so he would come back home.

This was where he belonged, and Seonmi swore to bring him back no matter what it took.

"Keep a watch out for that traitor's word!" He called out to his secretary. "I'll make sure myself he regrets every second of it."
