I woke up early this morning and went straight to my office after getting dressed.

Vera stood in the middle of my office, arms crossed, with all the guys watching her, waiting.

"I'm not telling you shit!" She shouted.

"Vera." Ivan said bored.

I glared at Ivan, who clearly didn't care about this whole situation.

Ivan shot her a quick glance, but she shook her head firmly, "No way, Ivan, I'm not doing that.."

"Vera, please."

Vera let out an exasperated groan before finally conceding, "Fine."

She let out a sigh and turned to meet my eyes, "That night, she mentioned this guy, Viktor, who apparently spotted her walking in the road. I believe she said he was her father's closest friend or something along those lines. Anyway then, he sent her off to Sweden, making her work multiple jobs until, well..." She shot me a disapproving look, "you know."

Vikor Baranov. One of the members of Valgalla Club.

~~~
"Viktor?" I heard Angelina asked, when he came up to us.
"Oh Angelina, you remembered me." He said, out of breath.
She knows him.
Vikor was one of the most annoying guys to ever be a member of Valgalla. He always stares at us when we walk into the building.
After my dad passed when I was twenty-seven, out of the blue, he reached out with his condolences.
I didn't even know him all that well for him to be saying stuff like that.
"Of course, I remember you." She said, as he engulfed her into a hug.
The look of shook on her face, says that she wasn't much of a hugger.
"You've gotten so big, I haven't seen you since your dad died." He exclaimed, breaking the hug, right after shooting me a look.
If my gaze wasn't fixed on his face as intensely as it was, I might've overlooked it, and honestly I couldn't care less.
"What are you doi-" he started.
I cleared my throat, triggering Viktor's attention to move from her to me.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Mr.Alekseev." He paused, "Is she here with you?" He asked.
"Yes she is." I replied coldly.
Viktor looked at her, then back at me.
"Sorry about that, I didn't mean to interrupt, I'll just go." Viktor replied, "Bye Angelina, it was nice seeing you again."
That guy is really weird.
~~~

Fuck it all started to make sense, why he would always stare at me, why he was the first person to send condolences.

Because he knew, that was his best friend.
