**Shana's POV**
I woke up early on Sunday morning, feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. I loved Sundays, it meant church was coming up. I was a devout Christian, and going to church was my favorite part of the week.
After getting dressed, I headed downstairs to the kitchen where my mom was already making breakfast. We chatted about our plans for the day, and I told her about the church service I was looking forward to. My mom smiled and reminded me to be on time.
At church, I sang my heart out, joined in on the praise and worship, and listened intently to the sermon. It was exactly what I needed to recharge my spirit. After church, I met up with my friends, Rachel and Emily, for brunch.
As we sat down at the table, Rachel brought up her latest idea. "Hey girls, have you guys ever thought about going clubbing? I heard this new club downtown is amazing!"
Emily looked at me uncertainly. "I don't know, Rach. I'm not really into that sort of thing."
But Rachel was persistent. "Come on, it'll be fun! We can try something new and let loose for once."
