Chapter 5

Let's continue the story with Shana trying to balance her feelings and make a decision.

**Chapter 4 - Shana's POV**

I decided to take some time for myself to reflect on what I really wanted. I couldn't keep going back and forth between my old life and this new one. I needed to make a choice.

I started by talking to Rachel and Emily, trying to get their perspectives on things. Rachel was worried about me losing myself, while Emily was worried about my grades and faith. But as we talked, I realized that they were both right. I was losing myself in this new lifestyle, and it wasn't doing my grades or faith any good either.

I also talked to Mathew, trying to understand why he was so invested in this lifestyle. He told me that he loved me for who I was, and that he wanted me to be happy. But deep down, I knew that he was also using me for his own purposes.

As I processed everything, I realized that I had been living for others instead of myself. I needed to find a way to balance my desire for freedom with my desire for connection and meaning.

I decided to take a step back and focus on my faith and my studies. It wouldn't be easy, but I knew it was what I needed to do.

But just as I was getting settled into this new routine, Mathew showed up at my door with a surprise.

"Hey, babe," he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I got us tickets to a concert tonight. Let's go!"

My heart skipped a beat as I hesitated. Part of me wanted to go, but another part of me knew that it wouldn't be a good idea.

"Mathew, I...I don't know," I said, trying to find the right words.

He looked at me with a confused expression. "What do you mean? You're not interested?"

I took a deep breath. "It's just...I'm trying to focus on my studies and my faith right now. This lifestyle isn't healthy for me."

Mathew scowled. "You're making a big mistake," he said, his voice cold.

And with that, he stormed out of my life.
