**Lilith's POV**

As Ashley and I walked back to the common room, I could feel the weight of secrets and lies bearing down on me. I knew that the others would need to know the truth about my connection to Scar, and I wasn't sure how they would react.

Ashley led me to a quiet corner of the room, where we sat down on a pair of chairs. "So, tell me," she said, her voice low and steady. "What was it like growing up with Scar?"

I took a deep breath, trying to process the memories. "It was... complicated. He was my father, but he was also a monster. He did terrible things, and I was always afraid of him."

Ashley's eyes flashed with anger. "I'm so sorry, Lilith. I had no idea."

I shook my head. "You couldn't have known. No one knew what he was capable of until it was too late."

As we talked, I noticed that the others were starting to stare at us, sensing that something was amiss. I glanced around the room, feeling a sense of unease.

"Let's take a walk," Ashley said suddenly, standing up.

I followed her out into the night air, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. The cool breeze carried away some of the tension, and I began to feel like I could finally breathe again.

As we walked, Ashley asked me more questions about my childhood with Scar, and I told her everything. She listened intently, her eyes filled with compassion and understanding.

When we returned to the common room, the others were waiting for us. They looked at me with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion, but Ashley stepped forward to vouch for me.

"Lilith is telling the truth," she said firmly. "She's been through a lot, and she needs our support."

The group seemed to nod in agreement, and slowly but surely, they began to accept me as one of their own.

But as we settled back into our routine, I couldn't shake the feeling that there were still secrets lurking in the shadows. Secrets that could tear us apart at any moment.

And then there were the strange occurrences that had been happening lately... equipment malfunctioning, strange noises in the night, and an overall sense of unease that seemed to be building.

I knew that it couldn't be just my imagination playing tricks on me. Something was off, and I was determined to find out what it was.

As I lay in bed that night, I couldn't help but wonder what other secrets lay hidden beneath the surface of our little community. And whether we would be able to uncover them before it was too late.
