"Hobi? Hobi are you here?"
"Do you think he is upstairs today with the weather? It is really cold"
"Mr Cha is home now so we can ask-"
"He scares me though..."
"But I want to see Hobi too...should we try yelling more?"
Something familiar sounding buzzed through his ears making the fog lift from his head as sleepyness lifted with each second passing. A cold shiver ran through his whole body and goosebumps littered his skin when his eyes slowly opened trying to find out where the sudden invasion of sound came from.
"Hobi-hyung? Are you here?" He blinked his eyes slowly before the wheels turned in his mind again and he realised what the sound was. The sound of voices, the voices of Jimin and Taehyung.
He shot up from his spot ignoring the way his body protested almost immediately making him almost double over as he leaned forward from the ache of his limbs and a pang of an empty hollow feeling in his stomach.
He looked up at the window and his heart started to beat irractically fast as his smile bloomed largely on his face before he crawled closer to where the white light was pointing from a small black stick thing he always saw his father had when giving his dinner. He crawled with happiness pouring out of his chest and it felt like he was still part of the dream almost making his moves sloppy as he almost tippef over with each leg and arm crawling closer to the light.
"Jimin-ah? Tae?" His voice cracked slightly and was slightly above a whisper but he knew they heard him when the light suddenly moved from it's spot on the ground to him blinding him momentarily.
"Oh sorry!" Jimin apologized and the light moved a bit to the side as he looked at them not thinking of anything else beside letting the happiness thrum under his skin as he stared at the boys letting colour fill his vision with the colourful clothes both boys had on.
Jimin had a fluffy looking, soft, yellow sweater on and a white shirt going up to his neck sticking out on top with his hair straight flat on his head. Taehyung had a large looking, puffy jacket on that was open with an identical yellow sweater on but with a black turtleneck shirt peaking out. He didn't register the shocked expressions on their faces as he kept smiling at them while sitting on the back of his legs shivering from the cold unconsiously but his sleepy brain didn't let that sink in at the moment.
"Hobi...." He blinked confused at Taehyung who said his name in shock and almost like a bag of rocks thrown over his head he felt the reality sink in as he saw eyes flicking all over his own face, his face that was showing each feature from the way he was now closer to the window and the light was now directly on him.
He felt the smile slowly dissapearing as the silence continued and before he could move away and hide in fear that he would be rejected he saw a smile blooming on Taehyung's face.
"Hobi! Oh my squishy ducks you have the most beautiful smile I've ever seen! It looks like a heart! You have such a pretty face too! It reminds me of Eomma's smile, you kinda look like her a small bit but- oh aren't you cold?!" He had to process the words slowly as he looked at them and he couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with these boys.
Pretty? Taehyung thinks he is pretty? His smile....his broken face is....
"Pretty?" The words came out scratchy as he interrupted the boys rambling in concern from his clothes and Jimin blinked at him with his mouth open.
"Hobi you really are pretty if you are asking! I am not lying at all! Tae is right you kinda look a tiny bit like our mother and your smile looks so bright but you look so cold! Are you cold? Where is your sweater or a blanket or socks?!" Jimin fussed and Hobi couldn't stop the small warmth filling his chest.
