Something was strange and felt wrong. The normal silence of the day was interrupted and not by something he knew like the sounds of the large iron door unlocking or his father's voice booming in the small room. It wasn't even the sound of rats or mouses seeking refuge in his space like many have before.

No, this time it sounded like something he didn't think he would ever hear up closely and he needed to rub his eyes so many times to be sure he wasn't dreaming of it and he needed to rest his hand on his chest to feel his heart beating rapidly in his chest. Those sounds were something he heard in different ways but it was the first time in his short lifetime he heard something so clearly familiar in such an unfamiliar way.

It sounded so much like voices, like voices of people and voices of someone as young as him. The sun had not only brought out it's lovely sunrays for him to sit in but it also brought a new frightening thing along with it and he didn't know if fear or curiousity was running higher in his body but he kept his body locked in position in his special place on the floor. He strained his ears to hear the light and muffled voices sounding a bit too near to him for his comfort.

"Jin-Hyung is scold us so badly if he finds out we are here" The first voice was lighter but it sounded like a boy of he was correct but he wasn't so sure since he couldn't remember ever hearing a female voice except for the ones in his dreams that stopped appearing to him 3 years ago. He strained his ears further leaning forward but not moving his body from his spot since his breathing stopped in instict not wanting to be heard at all and only wanting to hear the voices.

"Well Hyung would kill us if he found out we accidently let Namjoon-hyung's drone fall into Mr Cha's backyard. You know Appa says we need to stay away from him and I agree because he looks creepy like one of those fairytale evil people"

"Tae that is rude! You can't say that about an adult"

"I'm not lying though! You look scared just at the sight of the old man!"

"Shush or else Mr Cha will hear you and he will skin us before Jin-hyung can tell our parents when they come home or even Namjoon-hyung"

The voices kept arguing and the boy pulled his legs closer to his chest with his eyes blown wide and mouth hanging the slightest bit open as he began taking in rushed puffs of breath at the bickering coming from the strangers who he envisioned as two young boys. The voices sounded to near to his own than to his father's more deeper and gruff tone.

His eyebrows curled downwards not understanding the words the boys were speaking of with a so-called 'drone' that had apperently been lost in Mr Cha's backyard. He tried to slowly piece the information together and he came to a point in finding out his father might be the Mr Cha they were speaking of. It tickled his brain slightly at the words they used against him.

They were scared of him? Why were they scared when they were more dangerous than his father? Did his father do such a good job in being a protector that he made sure to flood fear into the outside world people so that they couldn't come near him?

His blinked repeatly as he shook his head lightly. He could undersand why they would fear him since he felt bad for being scared when his father got angry or skipped in giving him a meal but he was still kinder than the dangers would be outside and he would rather stick to his father and the safe sunlight.

The name could mean someone else though but a small voice in his mind agreed with the logic his mind had and then the small thought crossed his mind. He had the faintest memory of a children's book he was once gifted for not disobeying his father's orders and he had seen someone adress other people with 'Mr' but other names following. He only knew how to read but the understanding of then still fell dead to the understanding part of his brain.
