Time felt like it was passing faster and when he blinked his eyes open the morning after his father left he just felt like the week was going to bring him alot more than he would expect but it didn't mean everything would be bad.
Just like the sun he rose up early and even with the sun shining brighter then it had during the other days in the week he simply smiled as he slipped the warm socks on with the sweater before he gently laid out the blanket on the spot by the sun before he poured himself a bit of water in his cup and only gave the empty food bowl a second long look before sitting down on the blanket crossing his legs letting out a small sigh. He had eaten the night before since the twins had brought him 3 wrapped sandwiches which he devoured within seconds at the delectable taste just as how their food they brought always tasted.
He still wondered how they got the free food in such large portions for him too...
He wasn't that hungry this time in the morning after the previous day so even while he stared at the food bowl he knew that it could have- had been- worse and he didn't want to be greedy with the food he was given since it was given not earned for him.
He was glad he never voiced that out loud with the twins hearing since he was almost 100% sure that they would argue with him until the three of them were blue in the face.
The twins wouldn't visit for another few hours so he still had plenty of time to get lost in his mind as usual and ponder on what the rest of the day would bring for him and how long his friends would be able to stay with the weather looking a bit better.
They would be at their school at the moment and he let himself daydream of going to the place the twins supposedly hated but still had so many stories of which made him slightly wish for a chance to go there. Even though he couldn't experience it though for many reasons he was glad he knew of it so that he could imagine it as freely as possible knowing that there wasn't a way his rose coloured glasses could shatter with how the outside world could look if he was part of it since he was never leaving his room.
It was fine though, perfectly fine and it didn't make him just a single bit jealous of the thought of having a life outside of the four walls.
No never...he was safe...the walls were safe....
His thoughts were interrupted by a familiar sound of nearing footsteps through long grass that he knew was outside since Taehyung had complained once about almost falling through the grass that towered over the ground to which he found out wasn't quite as long thanks to Jimin but that it really had grown alot and that the grass was long, bright dark green and that it tastes awful -knowledge from Taehyung.
The corners of his mouth tilted upwards immediately as he thought of the boys perhaps coming back earlier as a surprise for him and he shuffled slightly closer drinking his glass of water with hurried sips and licking the dripping water from his lips catching each droplet before setting it down as he stared in delight at the window waiting for the familiar figures.
One thing he didn't realise before it was too late was how there wasn't any hushed chatter or another accompanied sound of footsteps from another person until it was too late and he felt all the happiness being ripped from him as cold fear ran through his bones at the sight of round, wide and curious eyes zapping through the room before settling on him making them both freeze.
A boy....a young boy.....
The sight of wide brown doe eyes going as wide as possible and a loud gasp escaping the boy's mouth made his heart immediately fall down to his stomach twisting painfully as raw fear crawled its way up in his throat for the first time in so long.
He was found by someone else. They weren't Jimin or Taehyung or someone he could trust like he trusted them or like he trusted his father. It was a stranger who could make all his father's warnings come true and he was in direct light this time so he knew the boy saw his imperfections that made him a mistake to the world. The younger would be horrified by first meeting and start the beginning to his end.
